While there are plenty of intriguing and nostalgic things to discover around the great outdoors of Velvet Cove in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, there are just as many, if not more, to find right at home in Swann's childhood bedroom. In fact, thoroughly exploring the contents of her room can lead to unexpected story tangents, memoir collectibles, and even achievements.
One such example in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is the Nailed it! Achievement, which requires you to interact with one of Swann's beloved puzzle toys and figure out all of its possible solutions. If you're not sure what it entails, here's a guide to help you unlock it.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 - Is Kat Alive?
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is filled with many emotional plot twists, and perhaps the biggest one of all focuses on Kat.
Where to Find Pin Screen in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
Starting in Scene 3 of Tape 1 in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you'll notice that Swann's bedroom is vibrant and full of interesting items to explore and interact with, including toys and puzzles that definitely hearken back to the 1990s. One of those toys is a Pin Screen, which allows you to make various shapes in it using your hands.
You can find Swann's Pin Screen sitting on the bookshelf to the right of her bed, propped upright on the topmost shelf. Approach the shelf until you get the 'Examine' prompt for the Pin Screen. Select it, which will then allow you to pick it up and use it.
There are a few different instances in the story where you can use the Pin Screen, both in Tape 1 and Tape 2. While the Pin Screen's position on the shelf will slightly change, it will almost always be in that same location. The one exception is in Tape 1, Scene 19 (Packing Up) where it will be on the shelf directly above Swann's bed instead.
How to Complete Nailed it! Achievement in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
To complete the Nailed it! Achievement in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you need to use Swann's Pin Screen to make a total of six different shapes during at least two instances across both tapes.
Important Note: This particular achievement is currently bugged for some players and may not immediately pop, even if the required objectives are completed. It reportedly has to do with save files created before the release of Tape 2. As such, with both tapes now released, one confirmed solution is to start a new save file and complete the required objectives again.
During Tape 1, you can interact with the Pin Screen in either Scene 3 (Swann Holloway, 1995), Scene 14 (Phone a Friend), or Scene 19 (Packing Up). The shape options you can make will be the same across all three of these instances, including 'A Face Shape', 'A Rude Shape', and 'A Peace Sign Shape'. Just make sure to do each of them at least once.
Later in Tape 2, your one opportunity to interact with the Pin Screen will be in Scene 3 (Alone Again). This time, your three shape options include 'Rage Shape', 'Abyss Circle Shape', and 'Moth Shape'. Do all of them at least once, and the achievement should then unlock.
If you miss out on any of these instances or shapes during your initial playthrough, remember that you can go back and replay any scene you wish via the 'Scene Selection' feature. Make sure to use the 'Collectible Mode' option, which allows you to collect any missing achievement-related items/moments without compromising your story progress or possible endings.
