Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is, first and foremost, a story-driven game. It features no combat, with most of the gameplay centered around exploring small areas and making dialogue choices. However, that’s not all it has to offer.

Like many games in its genre, Lost Records includes puzzles scattered throughout. While none are frustratingly difficult, some can be time-consuming if you miss a clue. One such puzzle involves finding the Ice Cream Shop key. Well, no need to worry as the guide below will tell you exactly where to find the keys and how to obtain them.

Finding Ice Cream Shop Keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In Scene 6 — The First Night, Autumn will be searching for her Ice Cream Shop Keys, which Dylan threw away. You should choose to help her find them, as it was partially your fault. Thankfully, you won’t have to search every nook and cranny of the playground — the keys are hidden in plain sight but can still be easily overlooked.

The Ice Cream Shop Keys are located on top of the blue and pink-colored Rocket. You should be able to spot them easily using your camcorder's flashlight. Equip your camcorder, zoom in on the keys, and once you're close enough, a dialogue prompt will appear, allowing you to acknowledge their location.

Covering The Water Drainage Hole in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Let the cutscene play out, and you’ll then be tasked with finding something to throw at the keys to knock them down. However, before doing that, there's one important step you need to take first.

Look around the rocket, and you'll notice an open water drainage hole. Interact with it, and Swann will comment on how the keys could fall into it. Next, find the nearby cardboard box and interact with it, so Swann can use it to cover the hole, preventing the keys from slipping inside.

Why Lost Records: Bloom & Rage's Development Team Chose To Make An Episodic, Choice-Based Game

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a story heavily driven by player choice, released in two parts to create an episodic narrative.

Finding The Brick in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

You might think you can throw anything at the keys to knock them down, but that’s not the case. Only one object works as a projectile — a brick. Here’s how to find it.

Head toward the large concrete pipes where Autumn is standing. Go through the broken fence and follow the linear path. Eventually, you’ll reach a low opening that requires you to crouch. Go through it, turn left, and continue along the path until you come across a pile of bricks. Pick one up.

Feel free to explore this small area and record any memoirs with your camcorder if you want, but this is purely optional.

Head Back To The Keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Now that you have the brick, hurry back to the rocket ship where the keys are stuck. Before Autumn throws the brick, make sure to aim your camcorder’s flashlight at the keys — otherwise, she will miss the shot.

  • If she does miss, pick up the brick from the mud and hand it back to her. She’ll try again, just don’t forget to illuminate the keys this time.
