Lords of the Fallen, similar to other soulslike games, follows the same tradition of having multiple endings. Each ending has its own requirements that the player must complete in order to achieve it. Some endings are much harder to pull off because of the restrictions they have. Even failing one step can lead to an ending being locked out for the rest of the playthrough.

This guide covers every ending in detail, along with warnings that everyone must take notice when trying to achieve any ending. Here's how to get them all.

Lords Of The Fallen: 5 NPCs You Should Not Kill

Certain NPCs in Lords of the Fallen can be incredibly helpful, but only if the player stays their blade and lets them live.

How To Acquire The Radiant Ending

Grants the In Light We Walk Trophy

Radiant Ending in Lords of the Fallen

This ending requires you to cleanse all beacons. Cleansing any beacons leads to the other endings being locked out.

First Beacon

The main objective of the Radiant Ending is to find every beacon and cleanse them in order to destroy Adyr once and for all. Your first step will be to take on Pieta and establish Skyrest Bridge as your NPC Hub. From the Skyrest Bridge, head to Forsaken Fen, which comes through the area of Pilgrim's Perch. At the end of Forsaken Fen you will find the first Colossal Sentinel. The Hushed Saint guards the first beacon, and you will have to defeat him in order to cleanse it.

Second & Third Beacons

After cleansing the beacon, head back to Pilgrim's Perch and go to Manse of the Hallowed Brothers from there. The Hushed Saint Boss arena leads to a new area known as Fitzroy Gorge, which also leads to other areas such as Calrath, Sunless Skein, Revelation Depths, and more. None of these areas are connected to the Radiant ending, so you can skip them if you want.

In the Manse of the Hallowed Brother, you will come to a split path. One leads to the Tower of Penance, and the other leads to the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. Tancred, another Colossel Sentinel, resides at the bottom of the Tower of Penance. Defeating him grants access to a key to the elevator that takes you all the way up to the beacon.

In the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, you will find the Rune of Adyr being guarded by a Huntress boss. Defeating her allows you to acquire the Rune of Adyr; however, if you are doing the Iron Wayfarer's questline, he will take the Rune of Adyr himself. The Abbey leads directly to The Empyrean, where you find Judge Cleric and another beacon to cleanse.

Fourth & Fifth Beacons

The fourth beacon is located in Fief of the Chill Curse, which is behind a locked door. The key to the door is granted by Andreas of Ebb on the Skyrest Bridge. At the end of the Fief of the Chill Curse at the Crow's Nest, you will find The Hollowed Crow boss. After defeating it, make your way to the beacon ahead.

Going back to the Skyrest Bridge, make your way past the arena where you fought Pieta and head straight until you see an open door on the left. Head inside to reach Upper Calrath. In this area, you will fight The Lightreaper if you have not defeated him yet. After taking care of the boss, head to the right of the arena to find the last beacon to cleanse.

Defeat the Final Boss

Now, heading left of the arena, make your way to the entrance of Bramis Castle. Fight Iron Wayfarer in order to use the Rune of Adyr on the pathway.

Upon reaching Bramis Castle, you will have to fight all the way through to the Sundered Monarch boss. Defeat him and head up to interact with the Effigy of Adyr. You will reach a new area, the Rhogar Realm, where you will face the final boss of the game, Adyr the Bereft Exile. After the boss fight is over, the Radiant ending will trigger.

How To Acquire The Inferno Ending

Inferno Ending in Lords of the Fallen

Do not cleanse the beacons.

The second ending in the game focuses on doing Adyr's work. Your main objective is to play the game as usual and defeat the Colossal bosses who are guarding the beacons. Do not cleanse any beacons. Play until you reach Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, where you acquire the Rune of Adyr.

Proceed until you reach the Sundered Monarch in Bramis Castle. Defeat him and speak to the Effigy of Adyr. He will provide you with an Empowered Rune of Adyr that you must use on all the beacons. As the name suggests, this will empower the beacons, freeing Adyr.

After interacting with every beacon, head to the beacon in The Empyrean and interact with Judge Cleric near it. This will allow you to enter her mind, where you can talk to Iselle and trigger the Inferno ending.

How To Acquire The Umbral Ending

Grants the Back to the Void Trophy

Umbral Ending in Lords of the Fallen

Do not cleanse the beacons

The Umbral ending is by far the most complicated and time-consuming. For this ending you need to follow some of the questlines in the right order to a specific point. Another thing to remember is that this ending involves killing a few NPCs.

Free Gerlinde

Your first objective is to free Gerlinde from the cell in Pilgrim's Perch. The key to the cell drops from an enemy nearby. After freeing her, she will head to Skyrest Bridge with Sparky. At this point, make sure you are progressing in Damarose the Marked and Iron Wayfarer's questline.

Mother's Lull

The next step is to access the Mother's Lull area. To reach this area, go to Fitzroy Gorge, which leads to Calrath, then Sunless Skein, then Cistern, and finally Revelations Depth. At the end of Revelations Depth, you will have to face Harrower Dervla. Defeating them will allow you to interact and head into Mother's Lull. However, to enter Mother's Lull, you will still need an Umbral Scouring Clump, which you can buy from Molhu for 50 Umbral Scourings.

Inside Mother's Lull, interact with the NPC to acquire Damarose's Seedpod. Use the Seedpod on Damarose, who is located at Pilgrim's Perch. If you want the Laughter Gesture, you can progress her questline until she reaches the Shrine of Adyr and gives you the gesture, and kill her afterward. After doing this, head back to Mother's Lull and interact with the NPC to acquire Gerlinde's Seedpod.

Gerlinde & the Lightreaper

Giving the Seedpod to Gerlinde will kill her. Once she is dead, her blacksmithing services, such as upgrading, will also be gone. If you want the ability to upgrade even while killing her, you can complete her questline by bringing her the three tablets instead. The tablets are located in Fitzroy Gorge, Upper Calrath, and in the Tower of Penance. Make sure to give the last tablet to Sparky, because only then can you upgrade your weapons as well as place runes at any Vestige. After doing this, give the Seedpod to Gerlinde.

Progress until you reach The Lightreaper boss arena in Upper Calrath. Defeat him to acquire The Lightreaper's Umbral Parasite. Take this item to Molhu in Skyrest Bridge, and place it into one of the open columns.

The Rune of Adyr

The next step is to acquire the Rune of Adyr from the Abbey of the Hollowed Sisters and head back straight to Mother's Lull. Do not use the Rune of Adyr to open the Bramis Castle gates. As mentioned before, you also need to progress in The Iron Wayfarer's questline. Doing so will make him take the Rune of Adyr. For this step, go to the gates of Bramis Castle and defeat him.

After the fight, do not interact with the gates ahead. Instead, return to Mother's Lull and Interact with the NPC there to acquire the Withered Rune of Adyr and Melchior's Seedpod. Return to Bramis Castle using the Withered Rune of Adyr, and defeat the Sundered Monarch. Head up the stairs and interact with the Effigy of Adyr to use the Seedpod on Melchior's body.

Umbral Realm & Final Boss

Putrid Mother in Lords of the Fallen

Make your way to the Fief of the Chill Curse, and talk to The Iron Wayfarer in the Umbral Realm. Use the Withered Rune of Adyr on him to kill him and acquire Harkyn's Umbral Parasite. Bring this back to Molhu and put it inside the open column. Talk to Molhu to find out what to do next.

Approach Pieta, and Soulflay her to show her parasite. This will teleport you to the boss arena, where you will have to fight Elianne the Starved. This is one of the toughest boss fights in the game. After the boss fight, bring Elianne's Umbral Parasite into the open column next to Molhu. Speak to Molhu to watch a cutscene where he will die. Inside the Mother's Lull, soulflay the platforms one after the other to reach the Putrid Mother and trigger the ending.
