Summary
- Bows in Lords of the Fallen require strategy and patience, allowing players to effectively attack enemies from a distance and slowly wear down their health bars.
- The Bow of the Mutilated scales from agility and strength attributes, increasing its damage potential. The type of ammunition used affects the damage type.
- Multi-Shot Crossbow is ideal for heavy weapon users. It shoots multiple darts, dealing increased damage at the cost of ammunition.
In Lords of the Fallen, bows provide a unique playstyle that some players may not be accustomed to. To use a bow, one must be able to be strategic and patient. Bows are one of the most effective long-range weapons in the game, allowing the player to whittle down the health bar of enemies and bosses without getting close enough to the fight itself.
Lords Of The Fallen: Best Grand Swords, Ranked
Grand Swords in Lords of the Fallen are sort of a niche category of weapon, surprisingly. Among all of them, these Swords are the best of the best.
Every bow and crossbow in the game can be equipped in the ranged weapon option, and they have three slots. These slots are meant to keep different kinds of ammunition that can help the player in different situations.
4 Bow Of The Mutilated
A Dual Attribute Bow Acquired Relatively Early
The Bow of the Mutilated is very useful, especially because of the two attributes it scales from. Having an A- in Agility and a C in Strength at max level allows the players to put Vigor in both attributes, increasing the overall damage of the bow by a handful. The higher the person's level, the higher the damage of the bow will be.
The weapon is usually acquired during the middle of a player's playthrough, but some people might miss the chest on their way to the Vestige. The damage type the weapon produces depends on the type of ammunition the player puts in the slots.
Where To Find Bow
From The Crow's Nest Vestige, head down the stairs and follow the path on the left of the gate. Go across the wooden beam to find a chest on the left with the bow inside.
3 Multi-Shot Crossbow
Triple The Darts Is Equal To Triple The Fun
The Multi-Shot Crossbow is the weapon that takes the Strength attribute to the max by having an A+ scaling on the max level. This allows players, mostly those who are using heavy weapons like Grand Axes or Grand Swords, to use the crossbow in their hybrid build to deal a high amount of damage to the bosses and melt down their health bar.
As the name of the weapon suggests, the Multi-Shot Crossbow shoots multiple darts of the selected ammunition when prompted. This allows the player to deal increased damage but also takes up quite some ammunition in the process.
Where To Find Bow
This crossbow is located inside a chest in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sister. The chest is on the balcony near the Abbess enemy just before the Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk boss fight.
Lords Of The Fallen: Best Catalysts, Ranked
Magic users in Lords of the Fallen will be interested to know where these valuable Catalysts can be found.
2 Harrower Dervla's Crossbow
Gatling Gun In The Form Of A Crossbow
Harrower Dervla's Crossbow comes in second purely because a player needs to invest a lot of Vigor in Agility and Strength attributes. This makes it less useful in the early game and a beast of a weapon in the latter half of the game. This crossbow is the only weapon included here that requires the player to beat a challenging boss, known as the Unbroken Promise, to be able to purchase it.
The crossbow can dish out very high damage from the get-go and increases rapidly with the number of upgrades. One of the best things about the crossbow is how unique the weapon is and how it feels like a Gatling gun in a medieval era. It can shoot several darts in quick succession, making it quite useful against bosses. The player can also use it against hordes of enemies as one dart is enough to kill an enemy, allowing the player to switch targets in between the animation, killing multiple enemies at once.
Where To Find Bow
This can be purchased from Molhu at Skyrest Bridge for 15 Umbral Scouring after defeating the Unbroken Promise boss and giving the boss's Remembrance to him.
Lords Of The Fallen: Best Hammers, Ranked
Hammers & Grand Hammers are just two of the many different weapon types in Lords of the Fallen. However, these 'bonksticks' are the best among them.
1 Assassin's Bow
All-Rounder Bow With A High Touch Of Agility
Unarguably, the title of the best bow in the game goes to the Assassin's Bow. This bow is a fast and reliable weapon in all situations and combat scenarios. It takes a small amount of ammunition, allowing the player to shoot quite a number of shots before needing to consume an Ammunition Pouch or Satchel.
The weapon has an A+ scaling in Agility on the max level, making it quite a useful tool for many aggressive and nimble players. The draw speed can be considered one of the few drawbacks but is also a problem in the other bows as well, so it can be ignored.
Where To Find Bow
To find this bow, the player must make their way to the Tower of Penance and switch to Umbral. Head down the multiple sets of ladders, and just before reaching the bottom of the tower, the player will be able to find the bow inside one of the cells.
