Lord of Mysteries Episode 3 was arguably the best one so far. In the episode, fans saw Klein Moretti being assigned a new mission. The agency wanted to find the diary of the Antigonus family, but because the mission was too dangerous, they brought in a Grade 2 Sealed Artifact. The one that they picked was 2-049, which was labeled dangerous.

Klein Moretti Learns One Of The Biggest Secrets

After bringing out 2-049, Klein and the other Nighthawks followed the directions to reach Ray Bieber, who was a descendant of the Antigonus family. As they got closer to the location, they found that Ray Beiber had transformed into a hideous creature. With no other option left, the heroes took down the creature. However, they were in for a shock. As they got closer, Klein and his group were attacked by the Clown. Klein remembered that it was the same clown whom he met in the city.

May honor once again be bestowed upon the name: Antigonus. —The Clown

Despite their superior numbers, Klein and his allies were unable to handle the Clown, who tricked the Nighthawks into getting to the artifact's range. Subsequently, they all fell prey to 2-049's power. Before the situation got worse, Klein made use of the Fog to escape and gain some clarity. After some time, the Clown offers Klein a deal. In exchange for the notebook, the Clown was willing to tell Klein the corresponding Sequence 8 of the Seer.

Klein played along and waited for an opportunity to get the better of the Clown. Fortunately, he didn't have to wait for long to kill the Clown. Before dying, the Clown uttered the word, Hornacis. Klein didn't understand what Hornacis meant, but regardless, he carried on. Towards the end of the episode, Klein went to the Captain and told him that the corresponding Sequence 8 of the Seer was Clown. Next, Klein Moretti decided to go to Khoy University to find out more about Hornacis. At Khoy University, he meets Azik Eggers. Klein asks him questions about the Nation of the Evernight. Unfortunately, Klein doesn't learn much, but before leaving, the Nighthawk asks Azik to contact him if he finds out anything related to the subject.

Lord of Mysteries Episode 4 will be released on July 12, 2025. It is titled "Divination With The Magic Mirror Is Very Dangerous." Judging from the title, it's rather obvious that Klein Moretti is going to do something rather risky. Lord of Mysteries Episode 4 will follow Klein Moretti as he digs deeper into the mystery of Hornacis and the Nation of the Evernight. The professor may have proved to be a dead end, but that doesn't mean Klein cannot seek help from others.

Additionally, it might be better for Klein to stay away from Azik Eggers, especially after a mysterious demonic entity appeared from his shadow. There is no question that the entity has intentions of harming Klein, so the hero needs to be cautious at all times.

Lord of Mysteries Episode 4 will also focus on the important side characters in the anime. While Klein is the main protagonist, it is absolutely necessary that fans learn about the other individuals, as they also have a key role to play in the story.
