Derrick Berg is the youngest member of the Tarot Club. He initially starts life in the City of Silver, which resides in the Forsaken Land of the Gods. He dreamed of bringing his people out of darkness, and for this reason, he walks the path of the Sun.
He joins the Tarot Club and is able to eventually become a liberator of his people, which came through countless brutal battles that he was able to win. Derrick has one of the most tragic backstories in LOTM, and having to deal with monsters of Lovecraftian proportions and still surviving makes him one of the most inspiring characters in the story.
