Dragami Games has confirmed that players can choose between four different voice options for the protagonist of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, Juliet Starling. The remaster of the 2012 original hack-and-slash game was first announced in July 2022, and it was originally slated to be a remake. However, the game was scaled back into being a remaster, with the Dragami Games president, Yoshimi Yasuda, stating that it was done to preserve the nature of the original Grasshopper Manufacture game.
After a couple of delays, Dragami Games finally confirmed the release date of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP to be September 25, 2024. The platforms were also confirmed in this trailer as well, with the remaster releasing on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Yoshimi Yasuda confirmed that the remaster would be implementing a lot of quality-of-life improvements and changes, such as including the Japanese dub, when the original Western release only included the English dub. Not only that, but the Japanese dub has more options for the voice of Juliet Starling, the game's playable protagonist.

This detail was confirmed in a report from GameSpark, where it confirmed that Juliet will have a new voice actor, Yukari Tamura, best known for Tenten from Naruto, Qiqi from Genshin Impact, and many other characters in anime and video games. Voices of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP's Juliet
- Tara Strong (English)
- Eri Kitamura (Japanese)
- Yoko Hikasa (Japanese)
- Yukari Tamura (Japanese)
In the original release of Lollipop Chainsaw, Juliet Starling was played by Tara Strong in the English dub, while the Japanese dub had multiple voice options for Juliet depending on which platform the game was purchased on. In Japanese, Juliet was voiced by Eri Kitamura in the Xbox 360 version of the game, while Yoko Hikasa played her in the PS3 version. With Yukari Tamura's voice now added to this remaster, players can choose between these four voices to listen to when playing as Juliet in RePOP. The statement isn't clear if the old voices are archived recordings or if they're newly recorded ones, though it's likely to be the former.
Other changes that have been implemented into the remaster include faster loading times, adjusted combat mechanics, and even a toggleable mode that turns down the violence of the original release to use pop-art damage effects. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP also has 30 different costumes that include options from the original game, along with new ones, along with four new chainsaws and hair colors each.
