Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop has gone ahead and unveiled the contents of its Limited Run collector's edition several months ahead of its September 25 release. Initially billed as a full remake, developer Dragami Games has recently reclassified Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop as a remaster following feedback from fans.
Now over a decade old, the original Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 and became one of the most beloved cult classics of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era. The colorful character action game was praised for its incredibly unique premise that follows a high school cheerleader named Juliet Starling as she tears her way through hordes of the undead with her chainsaw. Unfortunately for Xbox 360 fans, Lollipop Chainsaw has since been delisted from the 360 digital marketplace and hasn't been brought over to the Xbox One or Series X|S via backward compatibility. The only way for Xbox gamers to buy the original is to find a used physical copy, but thankfully, Dragami Games' imminent Lollipop Chainsaw remaster will give interested gamers a new way to experience the classic action title.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Confirms Four Different Voice Options for Juliet
The studio behind the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP remaster confirms that its heroine Juliet Starling will have four different voice options.
As one of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360's most adored cult classics, Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop certainly warrants a big collector's edition offering. Named "Cheerleader Edition", Lollipop Chainsaw's Collector's box is impressive, featuring a 10-inch statue of the game's protagonist Juliet Starling as the big ticket item. The Cheerleader Edition is available for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch users, and is up on Limited Run Games for $150. Lollipop Chainsaw fans will have until August 25 to lock in their orders, as the game releases a month later.

Lollipop Chainsaw's Cheerleader Edition features a fitting keychain of Juliet's boyfriend Nick's head, which she carries around attached to her hip in-game. Other supporting items include a San Romero Knights High School token, a "Chop2Shop.Zom" sticker, an artbook in the style of a high school handbook, and the game's soundtrack. Additionally, all of these items come packaged in a box that resembles a stylish blue high school locker. The Cheerleader Edition seems like a bountiful offering for Lollipop Chainsaw fans, and newcomers who've never had the chance to play the original game are sure to be satisfied as well if they choose to grab the collector's box.
Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop is far from the only PlayStation 3/Xbox 360-era remaster coming out this Fall. Epic Mickey Rebrushed has set its release the day before Lollipop Chainsaw's, on September 24. The much anticipated Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is landing a few days prior, on September 19, and Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered has just recently locked in its exciting Halloween release date. Despite the Xbox 360 Marketplace shutting down in a few days, there's certainly still plenty for fans of the beloved console to get excited about this Fall.
