There are several items and materials to collect in Like a Dragon: Ishin. One of the strangest items that players will find in the game is Pill Bugs. These seemingly useless insects will build up in the inventory, taking up space. However, they aren't as valueless as they appear.
Unfortunately, for the unlucky few players that discarded them, instead of keeping the little creatures in storage, they may need to hunt them down again to collect and sell to a specific buyer later in Like a Dragon: Ishin.
Where To Find Pill Bugs In Like A Dragon: Ishin
Players of Like a Dragon: Ishin will often notice their inventory building up with various items and materials as they play. They will find items scattered all over town in pots and during missions. Unfortunately, the Pill Bugs are only found in random jar-shaped pots when exploring. They can't be purchased at stores, and players must search them all to get a better chance of obtaining a Pill Bug.
The pots will replenish with more random items when Ryoma returns to these areas. However, they have a better chance of appearing in the slums of Like a Dragon called Mukurogai. Using palanquins - Like a Dragon's taxi service - to travel fast between towns should refill the pots. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to farm the Pill Bugs accurately, as they can appear anywhere at random, but looting every jar should yield enough Pill Bugs to trade later in the game.
How To Trade Pill Bugs
After some time, Ryoma will activate the Another Life side missions in Like a Dragon: Ishin. The goal is to collect items, improve the house, and sell items for trade and profit. One of the traders - a biologist - will request Ten Pill Bugs from Ryoma. It's worth noting that other requests from the sundries menu can be fulfilled by obsessively looting jars every time Ryoma crosses paths with one.
In addition to Pill Bugs, players can trade more seemingly useless items like scrap paper, worms, and scarecrow carvings. The jars can also contain valuable items like bronze, silver, and gold plates, special passion pills, vitality pills, and more. Not only can these valuable items be used in battle or sold at merchants, but they can also bring in a significant profit in Another Life's trading mini-games.
