When Kiryu Kazuma is not engaged in his usual roles as a legendary fighter, retired Yakuza, foster dad, and hero of the people, he finds himself taking on a variety of odd jobs. Over nearly 30 years, his resume has expanded to include roles like taxi driver, male model, voice actor for an adult visual novel, and many other impromptu roles. Kiryu's readiness to assist others has often led him into peculiar situations, including encounters with a character mascot named Ono Michio.

In Yakuza 6, Kiryu meets a man named Hironaka who introduces him to Ono Michio, a mascot representing the city of Onomichi. This slightly unsettling character, featuring a hassaku fruit for a head, was created to highlight the attractions of its beloved port town. With features like a "charming hassaku face, steaming Onomichi ramen hat, cute fish pouch, cool boots (essential for a fisherman), and a bold, trendy Ono shirt," Ono Michio’s design truly embodies the spirit of Onomichi.

The Ono Michio Figure is available as a prize in the arcade's UFO catcher machines. Specifically, the player should find and interact with the machine filled with hexagonal boxes containing various figures. If the desired figure isn't available inside any of the machines, players should ask the SEGA arcade staff to reset the UFO catcher prizes. This can be done multiple times to change the available loot or to simply reset their positions in the machine.

The specific Ono Michio figure needed is in a purple and blue hexagonal box. Don’t be fooled by its bootleg version found inside the red box. To win the figure, players must use the UFO catcher and attempt to grab the figure with the machine’s claw. Its unique shape may make it tricky to grasp, but the machines in Like a Dragon Gaiden are relatively player-friendly, so acquiring the prize should be feasible within a few tries.
