The LG B3 OLED may have been released two years ago, but it is still one of the hottest TVs in 2025. In what appears to be a clearance sale, Walmart has restocked the 55-inch model for just $798, the lowest price for a 120Hz OLED TV.

The 55-inch LG B3 launched with a steep $1,700 MSRP in 2023, so this deal gives you a massive $900 discount. LG has since released newer models, such as the LG B4, and recently announced the upcoming LG B5 as part of its 2025 TV lineup at CES. However, most have been incremental upgrades. The 2023 B3 still offers almost 90% of the features you'll find on the newer B-series OLEDs.

Why You Should Buy the LG B3 OLED

At $798, the 55-inch LG B3 is currently the cheapest way to own an OLED TV in 2025. It undercuts the 2024 LG B4 OLED by $200 while offering almost the same features and performance. Even for Samsung, the entry-level S85D OLED from 2024 has received a hefty 47% discount, but it still costs more than the B3 at $948. Admittedly, the 2024 models perform better in brighter rooms, but pound for pound, the LG B3 offers the better bang for your buck.

Part of the reason why the LG B3 is still so popular is its excellent gaming features. Its 120Hz refresh rate unlocks the full capabilities of your PS5 and Xbox Series X. In addition, OLED panels have an incredibly fast, almost instant, response time. Fast-paced games like shooters look clearer on the B3 than on much more expensive non-OLED TVs, which struggle with motion blur. Immersive RPG games like Baldur's Gate 3 also look their best on the OLED panel, making it a great all-around gaming TV.

The LG B3 is also the best budget TV for streaming HDR movies. If you don't want to go OLED because of burn-in risk or lower brightness, a mini-LED TV is the way to go. They are often brighter and perform much better in bright rooms. The picture quality won't be the same, but you'll still get most of the advanced features, like higher refresh rates and Dolby Vision.
