Lethal Company presents players with an exciting and thrilling scrap collection run with a variety of monsters that are hobbling around in the abandoned moons. While most of these monsters are harmless, a handful can be deadly to players during their adventure.
Players encounter monsters inside or outside the facilities and the company building throughout their journey in Lethal Company. Jeb, also known as the Tentacle Monster, is one such monster that lives in the Company building where the players can trade their scraps.

How to Find Jeb, the Tentacle Monster
Jeb, the Tentacle Monster, dwells inside the counter of the Company building on the Gordion moon of Lethal Company. It works as the company's scrap buyer and is in charge of transferring the profit to players. The players' encounter with this mysterious monster is inevitable since they must visit this building at some point in their expedition to sell the scraps they have collected.
However, the monster likes to remain hidden, and no one has ever seen the full appearance of it. It only exposes its lengthy tentacles, which extend out to gather the scraps put on the counter by the players. Once the scraps have been gathered, the players will get their profit in credits per the value of the items sold to the company.
How to Deal With Jeb in Lethal Company
Jeb is inherently calm and only becomes hostile when triggered or provoked by any player. The monster shows extreme sensitivity to high or annoying sounds. The constant sound of the ringing bell is what most irritates Jeb. Since the monster mostly remains in hiding, the players must ring a bell to summon Jeb. However, ringing the bell more than twice or three times in a row would irritate this deadly Tentacle monster and make him hostile to the humans around the corner.
If Jeb has been provoked, it will bring out his long, scary tentacle, pull the human closest to the counter inside, and finish him off. This can be a frustrating death for the players who have survived the three days of adventure on the abandoned moons, only to perish at the last moments, that too for someone who works for the same company as them. Thus, to avoid getting killed by Jeb, ring the bell once or twice and then wait for Jeb to arrive and fetch the scraps.
However, the bell is not the only sound that may trigger Jeb; other loud noises made by the players, such as the sound of an Air Horn, Boombox, or even the players yelling into their microphones, may trigger this monster. As such, the best strategy to deal with Jeb is to avoid making loud noises when the monster is nearby.
Can You Kill Jeb In Lethal Company
There is no way to kill Jeb in Lethal Company. Such drastic actions won't be necessary since he is technically a co-worker from the same company and won't do any harm as long as nobody triggers him.
So, players must be careful of the noises while dealing with Jeb. If players realize they've provoked Jeb, the only way to avoid his fatal tentacles is to flee to a safe distance where he can't reach them. The monster will retract his tentacles inside the chamber after some time if he doesn’t find anyone. Players can then attempt to complete the deal again without provoking Jeb to earn profit and finish the game.
