LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has tons of collectibles for completionists to track down. For those that are playing through Episode 4: A New Hope, the second main story mission called "Hunk of Junk" has five Minikits to find. This guide will go over the locations of all of them, and will also list the three hidden challenges.
Hunk of Junk Mission - Minikit 1
In the southwest corner of the room where the Millennium Falcon is, players will easily spot a Minikit floating against a wall, but it's too high for any regular character to reach. LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker players will need the assistance of a character that falls into the Scavenger class, and use its Net Launcher skill.
To acquire the Scavenger skill, players must play through Episode 7 - The Force Awakens. There's a mission called "Scraps for Scraps," and all three of the Scavenger abilities will unlock as players progress through it. Some examples of Scavenger characters include Chief Chirpa, Jawa, and Wicket.
Minikit 2
Go to the north side of the Millennium Falcon area to find some breakable boxes. Behind the boxes is a terminal that players can interact with.
Complete the quick mini-game to open up the shutter. Once it's up, players can pull the red box on the left and then push the one on the right to lock them into place. A Minikit will appear between them.
Minikit 3
Northeast of the Millennium Falcon, players can find a red terminal that only be accessed by a character that falls into the Villain class. If players are playing this mission in story mode, they might need to come back in Free Play mode to switch characters on the fly.
Complete the terminal's mini-game to open up the shutter. Players now need to grab one of those brown boxy droids that can be mounted and bring them to the switch. This will activate a short cutscene with the machine in the back of the room, and then the Minikit will be up for grabs.
Minikit 4
After finding the first two parts of the Millennium Falcon, some Stormtroopers will drop into the area from an elevator. Put the part back on it to make it work again, and get on it to reach the upper platform. Go on the path to the right, and then take the first left down a hallway.
In the next room, there will be some destructible boxes. Break them, and then build the broken pieces to create the next Minikit.
Minikit 5
After reaching the overhead crane and lowering the Sensor Dish into place, Stormtroopers will begin to attack Chewie. During this section, stay on the upper area, but head to the southeast corner to find a dead-end hallway with a Minikit.
Hunk of Junk Level Challenges
- Absolute Scoundrel - Use the environment to your advantage against the Stormtroopers. (Players can complete this challenge by using Han Solo's special skill during the first encounter against the Stormtroopers to break the objects holding the platform above)
- Don't Get Cocky - Defeat 3 Stormtroopers with hidden turrets.
- Chewie, Get Us Out of Here - Find different ways of blocking the Stormtrooper reinforcements. (Activate three blue terminals with R2-D2 to block off the enemy reinforcements. There are two on the main level, and one on the upper area)
