LEGO has just officially revealed a set based on the beloved cartoon and comic strip Peanuts. This upcoming LEGO Peanuts set will release on June 1, 2026, and captures the iconic image of Snoopy and Woodstock sitting atop his red doghouse.

Peanuts is celebrating its 76th anniversary this year, having begun life as a comic strip written and illustrated by American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in 1950. Almost 18,000 individual Peanuts comic strips were published between 1950 and Schulz's death in 2000. Since its debut, the Peanuts franchise has also seen a variety of adaptations over the last nearly eight decades, including a wealth of animated series and specials, multiple movies, and even a handful of live stage plays.

Coming in at 964 pieces, this LEGO Peanuts: Snoopy's Doghouse set is retailing for $89.99. Pre-orders for the set are now available via LEGO's website, with orders set to ship from June 1, 2026. This set is directly inspired by the iconic image of Snoopy, the Brown family's pet beagle, sleeping on top of his doghouse, which was first seen in a December 1958 Peanuts comic strip.

As its title suggests, the primary build of this LEGO Peanuts set is Snoopy's doghouse and the square patch of grass that surrounds it. Snoopy's doghouse measures a little over 10 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep, and the exterior of the doghouse can be lifted up to reveal a small brick-built campfire surrounded by a black screen. This black screen can be folded out to reveal a simple depiction of the night's sky, letting fans pose the included characters as though they were toasting marshmallows around a campfire at night.

Of course, this upcoming LEGO set also includes a buildable Snoopy figure which comes with two alternate leg and neck configurations that allow the figure to sit, stand, and lie down. Snoopy is accompanied by a brick-built Woodstock, the dog's famed best friend. The LEGO Snoopy's Doghouse set also includes a small typewriter which can be placed on top of the doghouse in what's likely a reference to a July 1965 Peanuts comic strip that sees the beagle beginning work on a novel.

As is the case with all LEGO Ideas sets, this first-ever official LEGO Peanuts set was actually inspired by a design created by a fan. Submitted by Robert Becker (also known as bossofdos64), the original version of the LEGO Snoopy set featured just 340 pieces and only included a buildable version of Snoopy, Woodstock, and a campfire. In its final, official form, LEGO has almost tripled the original design's piece count, with most of those additional parts going towards the iconic mascot's doghouse.

When the Peanuts LEGO Ideas set was officially greenlit in March 2025, it was accompanied by Maximilian Lambrecht's (HisBrickMaterials) 'Floating Sea Otter' design. The official LEGO version of the sea otters set was announced earlier this month. And is currently set to release on March 1. Though the set looks suitably adorable, some fans have criticized LEGO for changing key elements of Lambrecht's original design, such as the inclusion of a new baby otter and significant changes to the creature's face shape and detailing. While no other LEGO sets have been officially confirmed for June 2026 just yet, there have been plenty of leaks suggesting that the month is going to be a busy one for LEGO. Leaked June 2026 LEGO sets include a Jurassic World 18+ set, several Spider-Man: Brand New Day sets, new LEGO Minecraft sets, and the first ever official LEGO Shrek sets.
