As players progress through the main story of Lego Horizon Adventures, they will encounter diverging paths in certain missions. Each path offers a unique route, often presenting different challenges or enemies. However, the mission's outcome, including earning the Gold Brick, remains unchanged regardless of the chosen path.

When deciding, players should consider factors such as potential rewards, difficulty, or preferences for exploration versus combat. This guide provides helpful insights into selecting the most beneficial or enjoyable route, ensuring players make the most out of every split path in Lego Horizon Adventures.

LEGO Horizon Adventures goes Gold, bringing the family-friendly adaptation of Aloy's original journey one step closer to launching in November.

Should You Choose The Cauldron/Tallneck Path In Lego Horizon Adventures?

After the mandatory visit to the Cauldron and the encounter with the Tallneck, you will unlock two Bronze trophies/achievements tied to these events. As the story progresses, the game presents a choice between two paths. The objective markers will be accompanied by a mural with glowing arrows indicating the direction of each path.

Fans of Co-Op Lego games can choose the normal path or the second path, which alternates between a Tallneck and a Cauldron. The normal path typically involves ziplining into an area, engaging in combat with numerous enemies, and finishing with a Gold Brick reward.

On the Tallneck path, you will face a relatively small number of enemies, all of whom are Cultists. This path involves some wall climbing and minor skirmishes as you try to keep up with the towering Tallneck walking nearby. The Cauldron path, on the other hand, is filled with machines and mechanical doors that must be powered by throwing an electric bomb.

Both paths provide the same end reward. However, choosing a path depends on whether you have active Community Jobs. Many Jobs require actions like defeating machines, using bombs, or dealing with Cultists in specific outfits. Consider which path aligns better with your current objectives to maximize progress. Additionally, there are two Gold trophies: one for completing three Tallneck sections and another for three Cauldrons.

Focus on the path that helps you earn the trophy you’re missing.
