In Expert Mode, players will face increased difficulty settings and tougher enemies. While these features might be enough to attract the most dedicated survivors, the mode has one more trick up its sleeve: the inclusion of a permanent death feature. Once players are eliminated in Expert Mode, they will be locked out of the world forever. However, there is a silver lining to this punishing mechanic, one which comes in the form of an additional Charm. Here is how to craft a Totem of Return in LEGO Fortnite.

How To Craft A Totem Of Return

The Totem of Return is a Charm primarily used to cheat the permanent elimination feature in Expert Mode. When players equip this item in the Charms Slot of their inventory, players will find themselves respawning at their bed (or world spawn point if they do not have an assigned bed) with their inventory intact once they are eliminated.

While players will immediately be given an Uncommon Totem of Return in LEGO Fortnite upon speaking to their first Villager, they can craft additional Totems via the Crafting Bench upon getting their hands on Storm Core.
