How to Build a Custom Vehicle

Screenshot showcasing how to build a custom vehicle in LEGO Fortnite

Whilst players can obtain specific vehicle blueprints, players with a more creative touch can build their very own custom vehicle in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. To do so, players will need the following components:

  • Vehicle Base: Serves as the foundation for building a custom vehicle. All vehicle bases can be crafted with Wood and Granite.
  • Power Center: The Power Center, which requires Power Cells to work, acts as the vehicle’s engine, so players need at least one to turn on the car. The more Power Cells gamers put into the Power Center, the longer they'll be able to drive.
  • Wheels: Wheels give cars the extra push and help steer their vehicles in the right direction. Players can fit their vehicle with either Powered Wheels or Turnable Wheels. They can also change the direction that the wheels turn by interacting with them.
  • Driver's Seat: The Driver’s Seat can be used to drive and control the vehicle. Additionally, gamers can place extra seats to bring villagers along with them on a ride.

Since this is a custom design, players can craft a vehicle however they'd like, as long as it has one Power Center, Wheels for motion, and a Driver's Seat for control.

How to Build a Speeder

The Speeder is a fast vehicle designed to help players zip from one biome to the other . To unlock the Speeder blueprint in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, gamers must craft a Power Cell.

To craft a Power Cell, players will need to create a Compost Bin first; a station that recycles old resources and turns them into clean energy. After making the Compost Bin station, players can then recycle old resources to make Biomass. Mixing Biomass with Glass at the Crafting Bench will then create a Power Cell.

Afterward, the Speeder vehicle can then be built via the Build Menu with the following resources:

  • 14 Wooden Rods
  • 8 Cords
  • 2 Planks
  • 4 Wood
  • 13 Granite

Once players have all the resources, they can progress through four build stages to craft the vehicle. The Speeder also requires a Power Cell to be made drivable.
