Fortnite has come full circle with the introduction of LEGO building blocks to its newest chapter. LEGO Fortnite is a beautiful open-world sandbox game that features survival and crafting, similar to Minecraft. Players can enter into a randomly generated world to explore, battle monsters, and build their own village from scratch.
While players can certainly explore the different biomes in LEGO Fortnite by themselves, they also have the option to invite friends to their new brick-built world. To do so, players will need to make their friend a Keyholder. This guide will help players understand how the Keys feature works and how they can share their keys with others in LEGO Fortnite.
Lego Fortnite: How to Find Supply Drops & Loot Them
While playing Lego Fortnite, you may come across a Supply Drop that contains all sorts of valuable items and resources.
What is a Keyholder in LEGO Fortnite?
Each new world in LEGO Fortnite has a ‘key’ that can be shared with up to seven people. A Keyholder is any player that has full access to a world, even when its owner is offline. Making someone a keyholder in LEGO Fortnite allows them to enter and exit any world whenever they want. It also gives them the same world permissions as the host.
This means that keyholders have free rein in a LEGO Fortnite world, even when the host is offline. They can choose to build and modify a world in any way they desire, and all changes they make to the world will be permanent and can be seen by all other keyholders.
