Where to Find Sand Shells in Lego Fortnite

Sand Shells are quite different from regular Shells in Lego Fortnite. Not only will it come from a different enemy, but you can also only find it in the Shore Biomes and Dry Valley Biomes. You can get this item from Sand Roller enemies, which look similar to Rollers, but they will have a yellow shell and a green top. They look like the creatures in the image above and will be a bit tougher to defeat than your regular Rollers. You'll want to come equipped with at least an Uncommon Longsword or a Rare Longsword and a shield to protect against rolling attacks.

If you're hunting Sand Rollers close to water, however, you can also just lure them to roll into the water, and they'll die instantly.

There is no specific location where Sand Rollers seem to appear, but they are often pretty close to the water in the Shore and Dry Valley Biomes. They'll be visible and stick out, so you shouldn't have much of a problem spotting them. They aren't incredibly common, so you'll have to do a bit of searching to find one. After defeating one, you'll get one Sand Shell in return.

How to Use Sand Shells in Lego Fortnite

Sand Shells are an incredibly important resource that you'll need to obtain at some point in Lego Fortnite. It can be used for many different things, including:

Crafting Bench Rare Upgrade
Cool-Headed Charm
Hearty Totem

The Crafting Bench Rare upgrade will be essential to progress through the game and will require 3 Sand Shells, 6 Sand Claws, 15 Marble Slabs, and 12 Knotroot Rods. The Cool-Headed Charm will be useful for resisting hot temperatures, while the Hearty Totem will give you bonus health whenever you are at full health. Both of these will be significantly useful and make your travels easier.
