Upon making their way down to the surface, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will find themselves in Hyrule Field: a wide-open grassy area with plenty to see and do. Once they've gotten their bearings, they'll likely want to start tackling some of the area's many shrines, one of which is the Teniten Shrine.

Unlike the shrines players visited up on the Great Sky Island, all of which focus on Link's abilities, many of the shrines down on the surface aim to teach players about the combat mechanics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This is the case with the Teniten Shrine, which teaches players how to throw weapons in order to take down their foes.

The Teniten Shrine is in the northeastern part of Hyrule Field, not too far from Lake Kolomo. It's to the southwest of an area known as Whistling Hill and can be easily spotted from a distance thanks to its vibrant green glow. As with other shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, players will simply need to approach the entrance and then press the A button in order to gain access to the trial inside. The coordinates for the Teniten Shrine are -0068, -1115, 0021.

The Teniten Shrine is one of the easier shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, with players simply having to throw two weapons at a Soldier Construct in order to complete it. To do this, they'll need to target the enemy by holding ZL and then press and hold the R button to prepare their throw. Once they're ready, they can release R and throw the weapon, hopefully hitting the Soldier Construct when they do. Players can either use their own weapons for this or head over to the weapon rack on the left side of the room, where they'll find a bunch of Rusty Halberd.

Initially, the Soldier Construct will be standing still, making the first throw incredibly easy. For the second throw, however, the enemy will start moving, meaning that players will need to time when they release the R button. The best way to do this is to wait until the Solider Construct stops moving, which it does when reaching either the far left or far right of the platform that it's patrolling on. Players should keep in mind though that it will fire an arrow at them soon after it stops, so they'll need to be ready to move immediately after throwing their weapon.

After hitting the Soldier Construct for the second time, the enemy will fall from the platform and the trial will end. Players can head into the next chamber and open the chest, inside of which they'll find a Zonaite Spear. They can then approach the statue in front of them and interact with it in order to get their hands on another Light of Blessing. After that, they'll be teleported back to the entrance of the Teniten Shrine and can resume their exploration of Hyrule Field.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
