A big part of Xbox Game Pass' value comes due to its constant refreshing of content. While it maintains a library of over 100 games, there are frequent drops of new games. Sometimes those games are long-awaited first-party releases, and sometimes they're surprise releases brought to Xbox Game Pass due to demand or viral popularity. The latest game confirmed for Xbox Game Pass is just such an example. Lawn Mowing Simulator is coming to Xbox Game Pass soon.

Also notably absent from today's announcement is a planned release date for Lawn Mowing Simulator's release on Xbox Game Pass. All the reveal confirmed is that the game will be released to subscribers "soon." When pushed for a more specific timeframe, Skyhook responded with a gif of Homer from The Simpsons backing into the shrubbery. All Skyhook was able to add is that news will be coming.

For those unfamiliar, Lawn Mowing Simulator is just as its name implies. It's a sim game where players run their own landscaping company where they mow people's lawns. Players are able to customize their lawn mowers for different tasks required by the job, earn cash and upgrade their equipment, and mow grass at many different relaxing locations. The game even features a dozen real-world lawn mowers to buy and mow with. Lawn Mowing Simulator takes its subject very seriously.

Lawn Mowing Simulator officially launched in August and garnered a solid amount of initial attention. It was picked up by some Twitch streamers, perhaps for a relaxing time or perhaps for the memes, and as a result, garnered a good amount of attention. In fact, there were a healthy number of requests for Lawn Mowing Simulator to come to Xbox Game Pass at the time.

Now Xbox Game Pass subscribers don't have to hope any longer. The dream of simulating mowing lawns without having to buy the game full-priced is no longer a dream. Expect to hear details about when Lawn Mowing Simulator will be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S via Xbox Game Pass in the days to come.
