The Idol Slots in Last Epoch remain locked by default, meaning players will get access to them eventually. The key here is to progress through the campaign and target the required quests to unlock the extra relic spaces.

How to Unlock and Use Idols in Last Epoch

Idols are a necessity for building characters in Last Epoch, and there are multiple ways to unlock them. Travelers get their hands on the first one during the campaign and the rest can be acquired from a few different vendors, quests, and dungeons.

Players can also acquire these artifacts from Idols Shrines scattered around Ettera. The structures are quite easy to detect, and they drop various class-specific Idols of varying types. They can be categorized according to their sizes, as specified in the table below:
