Like a Dragon Gaiden: Where to Get Okonomiyaki

As players explore Sotenbori in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, they may encounter a man who wants Okonomiyaki. Interacting with this NPC, who is standing on Shofukucho, will initiate the When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!!? Request, and some fans may struggle to complete it. Fortunately, it is not extremely difficult to fulfill this Request, provided that the player knows where to find Oknomiyaki in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and this guide is here to provide that information.

LaD Gaiden: Okonomiyaki Location

Players that are working on the When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!!? Request should set their sights on Hiratai, a food vendor on the Sotenbori Footpath. Notably, the relevant Footpath is just north of the street upon which Kazuma Kiryu encounters the Person Who Wants Okonomiyaki, and, for the sake of full clarity, Hirtatai's precise position has been marked on the map that is above.

Upon arriving at Hiratai, and speaking with the woman at the window, players will discover that there are three types of Okonomiyaki available. Any one of those types is suitable for the purposes of completing the When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!!? Request, and players should return to the Person Who Wants Okonomiyaki on Shofukucho when they have the food in hand. Like a Dragon fans must then simply interact with the NPC and give him the Okonomiyaki to complete the Request and claim the associated rewards.

Those rewards are 5,000 Yen and 250 Akame Network Points, and both of those currencies can be put toward upgrading abilities and unlocking new combat techniques in LaD Gaiden. Additionally, players that fulfill the When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!!? Request will see their Akame Network progress bar go up by a small amount. While it is true that the Akame Network progress that is awarded for completing this Request is not extremely significant, it will put players ever closer to increasing the level of the Network.

To note, the When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki!!? Request is certainly not the only optional task that centers around food, and players will find themselves searching for various food items during their time in Sotenbori. This food is not always intended for consumption, though, and fans will occasionally be tasked with simply taking a picture of it.
