CAPCOM's Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an intriguing game that combines action with strategy. There are two cycles, and players will have to adjust their plans according to them. If it is daytime, they will primarily focus on purging the defilement, freeing the villagers, and gathering rations. In some cases, they might have to repair contraptions to make things easier at night.
At dusk, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess players will have to prepare the villagers, assign them roles, and protect Yoshiro from being killed by the Seethe. The variety of enemies in the game makes it challenging to win battles. This might affect the overall time that it takes to beat Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess may seem like a small game at first, but it can turn shockingly long, especially if players overlook the mechanics. On average, it takes around 15–16 hours to finish the main story of the game.
This does not include doing additional content, such as repairing bases.
If players want to complete every single piece of content in the game, the playtime will easily cross 20 hours. Completing repairs for every base is demanding and requires players to replay multiple levels. The limited number of villagers also adds to the woes. In most cases, players will only be able to assign villagers for a few repairs. To complete the rest, they will have to finish the previous ones and then send the villagers for the remaining repairs.
Arguably the most time-consuming activity in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess are the stage challenges. Every stage has different challenges, upon completion of which players will get rewards. On stages where Soh and Yoshiro have to purge defilements from Torii gates, there are three challenges. Sometimes they will ask players not to let Soh or Yoshiro take any kind of damage, while other times they will have to finish a stage without using rations.
It is clear that these challenges are tricky, and completing them requires players to be at their best. However, the rewards that they offer in exchange make them worth the effort. Sometimes, players can get rare Mazo Talismans and Musubi, both of which are extremely useful.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess also has a New Game+, which will keep players busy for a while. So, if one were to try and finish every single piece of content, it would take over 25 hours to complete.
