A fan recently purchased a BradyGames Limited Edition Guide for Kingdom Hearts 2 for only ten cents. This Kingdom Hearts 2 fan’s story is a great example of how it’s still possible to obtain amazing gaming-related merchandise for excellent prices with the right amount of luck.
The Kingdom Hearts series started in 2002 with a unique premise: mixing famous Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck with Square’s most popular ones, such as those from the Final Fantasy series. Initially focused on the protagonist Sora and his journey with Donald and Goofy, Kingdom Hearts had multiple mainline titles and spin-offs, with Kingdom Hearts 2 being one of the most beloved games in the franchise.

Fan Purchases Kingdom Hearts 2's Limited Edition Guide for Only 10 Cents
A Kingdom Hearts fan called FF9FTW recently shared an amazing story: they were able to purchase a BradyGames Limited Edition Guide for Kingdom Hearts 2 for only 10 cents at their local library. The gamer showcased a few pictures of the guidebook, claiming it was in “fantastic condition.” BradyGames released guides for many popular games during the 90s and early 2000s, such as Chrono Cross, Banjo-Kazooie, Devil May Cry, and others, but essentially all of them are collector’s pieces by now, and can be fairly hard to find at normal prices. In the post’s comments, gamers were pretty impressed with FF9FTW’s discovery. Kingdom Hearts 2 is a very popular PlayStation 2 game, so many gamers purchased the guide back in the day and had fond memories of it.
FF9FTW is not the only gamer to share an amazing discovery recently. A few weeks ago, for example, one fan purchased a special Pokemon TCG card for only $1 from a local secondhand store. Named “FILE NO.000,” the card could reach a value of up to $4,408 if graded and sold online, which made the fan incredibly lucky.
Despite Kingdom Hearts being a fairly big franchise, not many games based on it have been coming out recently, with 2019’s Kingdom Hearts 3 being the last mainline title to come out, followed by the rhythm-based spin-off Melody of Memory in 2020. Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced back in 2022, but it still does not have a release date. However, a few days ago, the possible worlds of Kingdom Hearts 4 were leaked, as one individual allegedly discovered that the game will have worlds inspired by franchises such as Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, The Incredibles, Brave, Inside Out, Coco, Wall-E, Star Wars, and more. Obviously, this is unconfirmed information, so fans can only speculate while they wait for the release.
