There are all kinds of special weapons in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that are only available through story missions and side quests. The Executioner's Sword is a fairly powerful weapon, previously unavailable to players. However, with Patch 1.3 dropping, players can get the Sword through the quest, The Executioner's Pride.
The Executioner's Pride sends Henry on a spooky quest to gather materials for the Sword, which has almost magical qualities. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players having trouble finding everything can use this guide to complete the Executioner's Pride and forge the Executioner's Sword.

Here is how players can start the Brushes with Death DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Executioner's Pride Walkthrough in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
With the Brushes with Death paid DLC release, players received an expansive free update with several new features, quests, and items. The Executioner's Pride is a side task players can pick up in the Kuttenberg Region.
Players will begin the quest with a tip-off from the Hole in the Wall bar owner about Executioner Heinz needing assistance from a blacksmith. Henry, of course, is the perfect candidate for such a task. Players will find Executioner Heinz near the Kuttenberg Gallows south of the city.
Talk to him and say, "I heard you have work for me." He tells Henry that he needs help reforging his Executioner's Sword. Then, ask him follow-up questions about the Sword to learn the required materials.
How to Forge the Executioner's Sword in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Due to Heinz's morbid line of work, he requires Henry to gather a peculiar set of materials for the Execution's Sword. Players will need:
- A Hanged Man's Noose
- A Ghostly Horseshoe
- A Bezoar
- A Hare Pelt
All of these items are spread across the Kuttenberg Region. Players can get a Hare Pelt from a Butcher or hunt rabbits in the forests. To collect the pelt from a slain rabbit, loot its body.
The Bezoar is a rare Blacksmithing item players can discover by looting chests or running into roadside travelers in Trosky and Kuttenberg. Players will find a Bezoar north of Maleshove in south Kuttenberg at the Ruins. The other two ingredients are a little tougher to find.
How to Get A Hanged Man's Noose in KCD2
Players will find the Hanged Man's Noose at the marker north of the Sedletz Monastery. A nervous thief will be looking through a dead man's pockets. As Henry approaches him, he confronts him and insists that Henry must wait until after he finishes robbing the body to get the noose. Players can try to pass a MEDIUM Intimidation speech check or allow him to search first.
If they fail the check and attack him, he will run off as soon as Henry draws a weapon. Then, players are free to loot the body and get the Hanged Man's Noose.
How to Get a Ghostly Horseshoe in KCD2
The Ghostly Horseshoe is attached to a legendary Phantom Horse that appears only at midnight in a burnt-down forest. The forest will be marked on the map as a part of the Executioner's Pride quest, falling right between Grund and Kuttenberg.
Find a tree stump in the middle of the burnt-down forest and interact with it to wait till midnight. Time will skip ahead, and a dark, scarred horse will appear when the time is right. Henry will say that it looks like it wants him to follow it. The Phantom Horse leads players to his old master's grave. Henry will be able to grab the Ghostly Horseshoe off it after that.
Players can claim the Phantom Horse as their own by visiting a horse trader.
Once players have all the required ingredients, the quest will update. They can forge the Executioner's Sword at any Blacksmith area in the region. To complete the quest, return to Executioner Heinz with the reforged Sword and turn it in.
Heinz will then say he needs to cut Henry to complete the Sword. Be wary of doing this with low health, as the cut causes major bleeding. However, after the quest is marked as complete, players can repay him for the trouble by stealing the Sword from Heinz.
