There are three main DLCs for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which can be bought separately or together as part of the Royal Edition. With these three adventures, the main story, and plenty of side quests, however, players might want to know the best order to complete KCD2's DLCs in. This is particularly important regarding one DLC and other timed quests, as players may accidentally fail other missions.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - All Main Story Missions
Here's a list containing all the story missions for each region in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to help you keep track of your progress.
An Overview Of Each Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC
Without going into too many spoilers, below is an overview of each of the KCD2 expansions. The order is in which they were released.
Brushes With Death
In the Brushes With Death DLC, Henry meets a painter with a troubled past, and present for that matter, in the Trosky region. By helping him, Henry will be able to get his shield painted, which is a new feature. The painter will eventually move to Kuttenberg, where Henry can catch up and continue the story.
Legacy Of The Forge
Legacy of the Forge takes place in Kuttenberg when Henry is offered the chance to purchase a ruined forge that his father once apprenticed at. However, he must first pass a trial to be admitted into the city's Blacksmith Guild. If successful, he can set up his own business, with daily quests that involve forging commissions, duels, and games of dice, among other activities.
He can then use his ever-growing prestige within the guild and any earned Groschen to slowly restore the forge and the rest of his new home. Eventually, lots of amenities can be unlocked, making this a base for repairs, food, sleep, and getting clean. On top of a new life as a blacksmith and tonnes of customization, there is also a story where Henry tries to fulfill his father's dream by fixing the Kuttenberg clock.
Mysteria Ecclesiae
In the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, Henry is hired to escort a royal physician to Sedletz Monastery to the east of Kuttenberg. Without this expansion, the monastery cannot be entered. Upon arriving, it quickly becomes evident that a deadly disease is spreading amongst the monks and lay workers. There are also a few mysteries to solve at Sedletz, and Henry will end up exploring most of the expansive monastery.
Starting the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC can fail current side quests if they are timed, as Henry will be locked inside the monastery for a few days.

This guide will provide players with the best options for each layer of armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
What Order To Play The Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLCs
The following order for KCD2 DLCs is best for the story and tries not to break any immersion.
- Complete the short The Lion's Quest DLC near the start of the game while in Trosky.
- Play the main story, completing Wedding Crashers and For Whom The Bell Tolls, as access to Trosky Castle will be unlocked.
- Start the Brushes With Death DLC.
- Complete the Trosky side of this DLC before going on to the For Victory main mission, as free roaming is locked over the following missions, and Henry will move away from Trosky.
- After the Storm mission, meet Master Voyta in Kuttenberg and finish Brushes With Death at your leisure.
- Complete the main story, and finish any in-progress side quests.
- Play through the entirety of the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC. Henry will be away from all other life for a few days.
- Start the Legacy of the Forge DLC and play at your leisure, with Henry settling down after his adventures to become a master blacksmith and townsman of Kuttenberg.
- You will hopefully have lots of side quests left to engage with while expanding your forge.
If players forget to start Brushes With Death while in the Trosky region, it's always possible to travel back between regions via a coachman.
The above order is best for the story, as it wouldn't make sense for Henry to settle down as a blacksmith and respected townsman during the course of the main story. Henry is often undercover in the city, so it wouldn't make sense to draw attention to himself. A blacksmith might also not take on the role of an escort for a royal physician, so that's why the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC is recommended second. However, it can also be played third.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Achievement/Trophy Guide
There are 50 Achievements/Trophies For Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Here's how to unlock them all.
If players don't care as much about the story or immersion, then the Legacy of the Forge DLC can be started upon arriving in Kuttenberg. This can be beneficial for gameplay, as it will give Henry a base in the city where he can eat, sleep, and take care of everything else. It will also mean that the progress towards the forge is made during the main chunk of gameplay. However, with so many main quests and side quests, Henry will likely have to turn down plenty of blacksmithing requests from his customers.
