In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players are running across Bohemia as they try to untangle a twisted war plot. They must talk or fight their way out of several sticky situations, with fighting being a more common opinion. Players can embrace long-range fighting and use bows and handgonnes to defeat enemies.
Henry will need to practice his skills to be good at using ranged weapons. Luckily, players can use a Console Command that makes their aiming dot reticle a permanent fixture so they can shoot more effortlessly. Here are instructions for how to keep the aiming dot reticle on in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How to Keep the Aiming Dot Reticle On in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Ranged weapons are a little more complicated to use compared to the various melee weapons available. The aiming reticle is always on players' screens unless they have a ranged weapon equipped. Of course, this causes some problems when it comes to aiming. Pistoles and other Handgonnes are particularly hard to aim with, but players who are on PC can cheat their way around this using Console Commands.
How to Use Console Commands
Console Commands are a way for players to enter cheat formulas into the game. Cheats are used to make certain gameplay aspects easier, so knowing how to use them is beneficial. Follow the below instructions to turn on Console Commands for KCD2:
- Open Steam
- Click on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
- Click the Manage button
- Select the Properties... Menu
- Type "-devmode" where it says Launch Options
Now, players will be able to open Console Command in their game. They can save anytime, get money, and more.
Enter the Cheat to Keep the Aiming Dot Reticle On
Players will need to launch Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to input the cheat. Once loaded in, click the back quote/tilde ( ` ) key to open Console Commands. Enter the following formula: wh_pl_showfirecursor 1
Next, hit "Enter" to run the command. Players will know it has worked if they pull out any ranged weapon and the Aiming Dot Reticle remains on. This should make aiming significantly easier once players can see exactly where they are going to shoot.
Increasing Marksmanship skills will also make shooting more accurate. Players can practice at archery ranges or by going Hunting. Taking Perks such as the "Crippling Hit II" will also increase Marksmanship.
