Summary
- Warhorse Studios will introduce more customization options in an upcoming update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
- Players will soon have the ability to change hair and beard styles for the protagonist, Henry of Skalitz.
Warhorse Studios has revealed several new customization options coming to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in a future update. Despite its massively successful launch, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is looking to keep the strong momentum rolling with further updates to improve the game.
Although Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a fantastic RPG, it focuses on a set protagonist, Henry of Skalitz. While players can find new armor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to put their own spin on Henry's look, there is currently no way to change his physical appearance. In the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, players had access to several hair and beard options, which were not present in the launch of the sequel. The good news is that players won't have to wait long for this to change.
Why Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Semine Wedding Is One of the Best Video Game Parties
Rowdy parties are a staple of RPGs, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 shows how to throw down in the digital realm the right way.
In a new development stream on Twitch, developer Warhorse Studios gave players a look at all the hair and beard styles on the way to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in the game's upcoming Barber update, with Redditor Valmont_DE posting screenshots of the new styles online. The Barber update is confirmed to drop sometime in the middle of March, so players don't have long to wait before they can customize their own version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Henry of Skalitz. Some of the options are small variations on Henry's existing appearance, while others offer a totally different look from what players will have been acquainted with in the base game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Reveals Hair and Beard Styles in Barber Update
The developer update offered up more than just hairstyles, though. It also gave players their first look at Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Hardcore Mode, another feature missing from the original game. It is described in the stream as "a more difficult and immersive way of experiencing the game," as "Helpful UI elements are limited both in and out of combat, and navigating the world relies solely on your sense of direction." As well as this, "Your character's position is never marked on the map, the compass doesn't show you cardinal directions, and fast travel is disabled." To top it all off, players can adjust the difficulty further by selecting from a set of negative perks that change how the game plays dramatically.
It's set to be an exciting year for fans of Warhorse Studios' latest RPG. Three major pieces of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC have already been confirmed for release this year, giving players even more content to enjoy in the land of Bohemia. On top of this, Warhorse Studios will continue to release free updates for the game, like the aforementioned Barber and Hardcore updates.
