After Kentarou Miura passed away, Berserk fans were eagerly waiting for updates regarding the future of the manga. Most of them had given up hope, and they had accepted that the series would never reach its end. However, Kouji Mori and the talented people at Studio Gaga decided to carry on Miura's legacy.

Shortly after Miura's death, it was confirmed that Berserk would continue serializing, and it would be handled by Mori and Studio Gaga. Despite the takeover, the manga has not been releasing chapters consistently. They have been taking breaks in between, which is understandable as they do not want to rush.

Kouji Mori and everyone involved want to be meticulous in their approach. So, fans won't feel that the quality has dropped. In a new update, it was revealed that Berserk would make a return in the next edition of the Young Animal magazine. According to the report, Berserk chapter 379 will be released on February 14, 2025.

Berserk Chapter 379 Release Date

The last chapter of Berserk was released in November 2024, and there were no rumors as to when the manga would return. Thankfully, fans didn't have to wait too long for an announcement. As previously stated, Berserk Chapter 379 will be released on February 14, 2025. The previous chapter did not have too much action, but there was a significant development in the story. For starters, Rakshas invaded the Kurultai, an important event for the Kushans in which they address some of the most important issues.

Rakshas displayed his strength, and he seems to have improved considerably since his last appearance. In fact, Daiba was taken aback by the apostle's strength. Silat also struggled to deal with Rakshas, and he required help from his allies to defend himself. The chapter showed that Guts was still imprisoned, and the Kushans appear to have zero interest in freeing him.

But it is inevitable that Guts will join the fight at some point. Once freed, Guts will fight Rakshas and help the Kushans to protect their land from the apostle. The upcoming chapter of Berserk will hopefully cover this particular storyline.

Berserk began serializing in Hakusensha's Monthly Animal House in 1989, one year after the prototype of the manga was released. Berserk continued to be a part of the magazine until it was replaced by Young Animal magazine in 1992.

Despite not having the same level of online presence as shonen titles, Berserk has sold a lot of copies. According to the latest report, Berserk managed to sell more than 60 million copies, both physical and digital.

Berserk manga will return on February 14, 2025.
