One Piece Fan Letter Was a Sensation

The Best Rated Special Episode In History

One Piece Fan Letter was an absolute sensation. This special episode quickly became one of the best-rated anime special episodes of all time, and for very good reasons. The episode was directed by the legendary director Megumi Ishitani, who has previously directed some insane One Piece episodes, one of which is episode 1015 of One Piece, which many fans believe to be the best in the entire series. Considering how many episodes One Piece has, this is saying a lot.

One Piece Fan Letter featured a bunch of new characters, most of whom are not even named, but even then, the story and the lives of these individuals caught the attention of many fans, especially the little girl who was the episode’s main character.

One Piece Fan Letter Blu-Ray Release Drops July 30

Preorder Already Available

One Piece fans who have been enamored by this episode should rejoice. One Piece Fan Letter is getting a Blu-Ray release, which is something often time anticipated by collectors. This Blu-Ray will drop on July 30, or in other words, in about 2 months. This is quite a long wait, but pre-orders are already open on Amazon. Fans can pre-order it here:

Of course, this Blu-Ray won’t just include the episode. Fans can expect a lot, in fact. The Blu-Ray bundle will include the following on top of the episode:

  • Ishitani's storyboard
  • Booklet
  • One Main Disc and one Bonus CD
  • A Special illustrated outer box + a custom digital jacket (Illustrated by Megumi Ishitani and Keisuke Mori)
  • New rare soundtracks

This all definitely makes it worth it.

However, it’s important to note that this is, for now, only available in Japan, which is definitely a bummer for international fans. But, all this content will definitely be all over the internet anyway.
