This article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga.
Between the Okkotsu siblings in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Tsurugi has been getting more attention than Yuka for displaying his skills and abilities in recent chapters. Gege Akutami has been placing Tsurugi in the middle of intense fights, allowing fans to know more details about his heavenly restricted body. The same goes with Maru, who often shows up with his alien cursed technique.
Clearly, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is sidelining Yuka Okkotsu, as readers remain clueless about her cursed technique. While the manga has shown glimpses of her attacks, there’s no concrete information about Yuka Okkotsu’s cursed technique. Still, given her ties to the Gojo and Zenin Clans, it won’t be surprising if Yuka's cursed technique holds immense strength and potential.
Say Hello To Jujutsu Kaisen's New Gojo Satoru
Gojo died in JJK, but Gege just created a new Gojo in Modulo.
Yuka Okkotsu’s Cursed Technique Is Not Yet Confirmed
JJK Modulo Only Showed Yuka’s Cursed Energy Property
- Yuka Okkotsu's cursed technique is still up for debate.
- Yuka Okkotsu's ties with the Gojo and Zenin Clans could make her cursed technique OP.
The debut chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo showed Yuka Okkotsu in action, fighting not only against the antagonistic human trafficker but also against her competitive brother, Tsurugi. Yuka lost against Tsurugi in their hand-to-hand combat, but she managed to recover just in time to overwhelm the human trafficker with unusual attacks like Savage Jaw Strike and Biting Twist.
However, Yuka’s named attacks didn’t exactly reveal or confirm her cursed technique, leading to various fan speculations. As shown in the pilot chapter, Yuka seemingly used her cursed energy property, much like how Kashimo’s cursed energy has electricity and Hakari’s cursed energy has a file-like roughness or edge. In both of Yuka’s attacks, her nails grow longer and sharper while her hands are infused with cursed energy.
The same thing happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 7, where Yuka attacked Masaki Takeda, a grade 1 curse user. Once again, she clapped her hands and infused it with cursed energy, seemingly channeling an animal’s claw. Unfortunately, there’s little to no concrete detail about the true nature of Yuta Okkotsu’s cursed technique at the moment, but it’s expected to be revealed anytime soon.
Yuka’s Cursed Technique May Be Related to Yuta Okkotsu
Yuka Okkotsu’s Technique May Be a Different Version of Yuta's Copy
As Yuta Okkotsu’s direct descendant, many Jujutsu Kaisen fans are expecting Yuka Okkotsu to possess the same technique as her grandfather. Given their close connection and Yuta’s decision to bestow Rika’s ring to her, Yuka may eventually tap into Copy through Rika once she unlocks the ring’s power. However, that will only be a repeat of Yuta Okkotsu’s abilities unless JJK Modulo gives her a different version of it.
You really are Grandpa's little girl, Yuka.—Yuta Okkotsu to Yuka
On that note, some fans are already expecting Yuka to take Rika’s power in a new direction and maybe even surpass Yuta by unlocking a variant of Copy that rivals or even outshines the original technique. Of course, this is still up for debate, considering many fans are convinced that Yuka Okkotsu’s cursed technique is Claw, a completely different ability from Yuta’s Copy.
Yuka Okkotsu May Inherit the Ten Shadows Technique
Yuka May Have a Different Variation of the Ten Shadows
Without concrete information about Yuka Okkotsu’s cursed technique, many fans also raised theories about her being the new Ten Shadows user. Before, in the original Jujutsu Kaisen series, Megumi Fushiguro and Ryomen Sukuna used the Ten Shadows Technique, so if Yuka were to inherit it or receive a different variation of it, she could become a powerhouse capable of summoning multiple shikigami with devastating versatility.
This time, however, the Ten Shadows may manifest or function differently under Yuka’s control, instead of simply summoning them. Her claw attacks hint that she could be wielding a new variation of the Divine Dogs, wherein he channels the shikigami’s attacks and combines them with martial arts, creating a more fluid and unpredictable combat style that sets her apart from her predecessors.
At this point, it’s difficult to draw a conclusion about Yuka Okkotsu’s cursed technique, whether she has a different variation of Copy, Ten Shadows, or even Construction. Jujutsu Kaisen fans will have to stay tuned for more chapters, as each new release could reveal crucial information about her abilities. Now that Yuka’s life is in grave danger, her cursed technique might awaken or evolve in the most unexpected way.
