There is so much hype and excitement surrounding this widely anticipated death game, considering the best of the best sorcerers from the old and new eras are going to fight to survive.
The Culling Game is orchestrated by Kenjaku himself, and many Jujutsu Kaisen fans can’t wait to see it animated in JJK Season 3 due to how intense and explosive it’s going to be. While the second season delivered the Shibuya Incident arc, the third season will certainly raise the stakes even higher, bringing together the strongest sorcerers in the Culling Game.

Hajime Kashimo
Taking Down 40 Players Is a Breeze
Hajime Kashimo lives to fight strong opponents, especially those who could potentially push him to his limits, such as the likes of Kinji Hakari and especially Ryomen Sukuna. He’s the type of sorcerer who gets bored easily, so it’s best to entertain him with powerful sorcerers instead of mediocre ones.
During the Culling Game, Hajime made his name known across colonies not just because he killed 40 players from the old and new eras in just a span of 12 days, but also because he was the first one to ever add a rule in the Culling Game.
Throughout the Culling Game, Kashimo effortlessly overpowers Panda, even after the latter activated his Gorilla and Triceratops Modes. Also, Kashimo nearly killed Kinji Hakari several times even without his innate technique, which speaks volumes about his immense power.
Kinji Hakari
Powered by Luck and Driven by Feverish Passion
Without a doubt, Kinji Hakari is one of the most powerful sorcerers in Jujutsu High with the potential to rival Gojo Satoru. While he has yet to show up in the anime, he is set to conquer the Culling Game with his combat prowess, luck, passion, and dynamic domain expansion.
While the Culling Game was ongoing, Hakari bested not just Charles Bernard but also the very popular Hajime Kashimo, who fans know was an incredibly powerful sorcerer from the old era. Kinji Hakari’s domain expansion, which is gambling oriented, allowed him to hit jackpots one after another, granting him limitless cursed energy, which supercharged his physical abilities and healing techniques until he won against Kashimo.
Yorozu
Sukuna’s Ultimate Fan Girl
Many of the sorcerers from the ancient era joined the Culling Game just to fight and kill Ryomen Sukuna, and Yorozu is no exception. Yorozu is the ultimate Sukuna fangirl, obsessed with teaching him about love and taking his solitude for herself even after years have passed.
Yorozu showed a phenomenal display of power during the Culling Game, which convinced many Jujutsu Kaisen fans that she could defeat Yuji Itadori due to her combat experience and domain expansion. In her fight with Sukuna, she withstood the devastating Ten Shadows Technique, standing firm even against the King of Curses.
Hiromi Higuruma
The Courtroom Killer
Unlike most of the sorcerers in this list, Hiromi Higuruma isn’t an ancient sorcerer, yet he managed to stand out in the Culling Game with his unique abilities, especially his domain expansion and size-changing gavel, which Yuji Itadori has experienced.
Hiromi Higuruma’s domain expansion basically put Yuji in what seems like a courtroom where Judgeman forbids any kind of violence but allows the accused to defend themselves. Depending on the Judgeman’s lawful verdict, the punishment can range from stripping Yuji of his cursed energy to even a death sentence.
Hana Kurusu
The Symbiotic Sorcerer
One of Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro’s goals in the Culling Game is to secure the Angel’s help in unsealing Gojo Satoru from the Prison Realm. The Angel is the only hope to free Gojo, as her Technique Extinguishment ability basically nullifies or disables cursed techniques, barriers, seals, and special-grade cursed objects like the Prison Realm.
What most people didn’t know is that Angel has a symbiotic relationship with Hana Kurusu, unlike other incarnated sorcerers who refuse to cooperate with their vessel. Together, Angel and Hana wield a deadly synergy, combining Angel’s curse-erasing power with Hana’s natural talent to fight incarnated sorcerers, including Sukuna himself.
Ryu Ishigori
The Indomitable Sorcerer
Ryu Ishigori earned the respect of many Jujutsu Kaisen fans after his showdown with Yuta Okkotsu in the Culling Game. He was even recognized by Yuta for his Granite Blast technique due to it being ridiculously overpowering and destructive.
That’s not all, as Ryu Ishigori also made a name for himself for having the highest level of cursed energy output among all the players in the Culling Game. Fighting against him feels like “knocking against a massive water tank,” at least according to Yuta. Undeniably, Ryu is a tough sorcerer, possessing incredible durability and firepower that even a fully manifested Rika struggles to overcome.
Fumihiko Takaba
Strength Born from Confidence
When it comes to strange but powerful sorcerers in the Culling Game, Fumihiko Takaba stands out for his ridiculous cursed technique and eccentric combat style. Takaba might look like a weak sorcerer on the outside, but beneath that exterior lies a powerful man with the potential to even rival Gojo Satoru.
Fumihiko Takaba grows stronger the more he believes in himself. In other words, whenever he’s in the zone, his abilities amplify, making it difficult to counter him in battle. Even Kenjaku himself admitted that facing Takaba recklessly could make a millennium of Jujutsu knowledge meaningless.
Uraume
Sukuna’s Ultimate Ally
Standing beside Sukuna, the King of Curses himself, is no easy feat, yet Uraume remains stoic and calm most of the time, unless someone insults their king. Loyalty is one of Uraume’s best traits, and as long as they have this, nothing can shake their resolve, making them a fearsome ally in the Culling Game.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans already know how powerful Uraume’s innate technique is, with their Ice Formation capable of freezing groups of sorcerers. Even the strongest sorcerers, such as Yuji Itadori and Maki Zenin, struggle to free themselves from her innate technique. Not to mention, Uraume’s reverse cursed technique is highly impressive, allowing her to heal their injuries in an instant.
Yuta Okkotsu
The Undefeated Sorcerer
Yuta Okkotsu means serious business in the Culling Game, and there’s no opponent he isn’t prepared to fight and beat down. He is one of the strongest players in the death game, to the extent that even Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro had to enter a different colony just to avoid a forced battle with him.
For the most part of the Culling Game, Yuta, alongside Rika, showed overwhelming power, never failing to defeat his opponents regardless of whether they are ancient or not. Not only did Yuta take down Dhruv Lakdawalla, but he also dealt with Takako Uro, Ryu Ishigori, and Kurourushi in battle.
Kenjaku
The Architect of the Culling Game
At this point, Kenjaku’s reputation as one of the strongest curse users in Jujutsu Kaisen is undeniable, considering he is the mastermind behind two of the worst acts of Jujutsu terrorism in Japan. While he was able to seal the legendary Gojo Satoru in Shibuya, he is also the architect behind the Culling Game, which forced countless players to fight to the death.
Kenjaku’s combat prowess, intellect, and Jujutsu knowledge are far superior to almost every player in the Culling Game, putting him in a league where only the absolute strongest, such as the likes of Yuta Okkotsu, Yuki Tsukumo, and Gojo Satoru, can stand a chance against him.
