This article contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has been, over the last few months, one of the most successful manga for Weekly Shonen Jump. After the unfortunate ending of its predecessor series, Jujutsu Kaisen, Modulo was a much appreciated seauel. Clearly, fans still want more from this series, but sadly, this new sequel is already closing in on its ending. With Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo's end approaching, its second volume cover has officially been revealed, featuring its most beloved antagonist, Dabura. With that said, fans will be able to acquire this new volume very soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 Cover Revealed
New Volume Features Dabura and Dura
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has been a massive success for Weekly Shonen Jump. The series has become one of the best-selling stories for the magazine, alongside giants like One Piece. Fans will remember that not too long ago, Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo Volume 1 made its debut. For Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo Volume 1, Yuji Iwasaki drew a stunning cover of the two main characters of the series, the brother and sister duo of Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu. With that, fans had very high expectations for the second volume cover of Modulo, and Yuji Iwasaki did not disappoint with his new illustration.
On the cover of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2, fans expected Yuji Iwasaki and Gege Akutami to feature Maru and Cross, two very important characters to the series. However, that didn’t end up being the case. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 features Dabura, and in the background, his best friend Dura. Dabura and Dura's story has definitely moved many fans, and the former has shown up to be one of the best antagonists, not just in JJK Modulo, but in Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole, standing on the same level as the likes of Sukuna and Kenjaku.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 Will Be Released On March 4, 2026
Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be able to acquire Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 very soon. As things stand, JJK Modulo Volume 2 will be released on March 4, 2026, which is in less than a month from now. The sales for the new volume are likely going to be even higher than the first one, given that JJK Modulo is wildly popular in Japan at the moment. In fact, the first volume needed a reprint due to its popularity. International fans should keep in mind that this is the Japanese release date. For now, the English release of Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo remains a mystery. As fans know, it takes a couple of months, and sometimes over a year, for manga volumes to be translated into English. Even now, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 1 doesn't have an English release. Clearly, there's a long wait ahead for many Jujutsu Kaisen’s international fans.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Will Have One More Volume In The Future
Final Volume Could Feature Yuji Itadori And Maru
After Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2, it's already a given that there will be at least one more volume ahead for fans. Gege Akutami himself hinted at Modulo being a three-volume release, but of course, the author could very well choose to add to that. Now, the story is approaching its climax, with not only the final battle unfolding between Dabura and Mahoraga, but also Yuji and Maru making their move to fix the world of Jujutsu Kaisen once and for all. The final volume cover will likely feature Maru and Cross, or perhaps even Yuji Itadori.
Fans can only hope that Gege Akutami surprises fans and continues JJK Modulo beyond Volume 3. Even though it seems like JJK Modulo is reaching its climax, the story has a lot of potential and could easily still go on for a couple more volumes, at the very least, or perhaps even longer, if things go wrong with Maru and Yuji's plan. Fans can't wait to see how the next volume concludes, and what Gege Akutami has in store for them moving forward.
