The Sorcerer Society in Jujutsu Kaisen has suffered a lot over the years. In the first part of the story, Ryomen Sukuna proved to be quite a massive threat to them. In the end, Sukuna even claimed the life of the strongest sorcerer of the time, Gojo Satoru. However, Gojo's sacrifice eventually led to a solid peace being established that lasted for many decades. As explained in JJK Modulo, Chapter 15, over the last 70 years, Japan has enjoyed quite a fragile peace. However, this peace has given rise to stagnation, and this stagnation has given rise to weakness, which is why Japan cannot protect itself right now.

Yuka is an immensely powerful sorcerer who can easily go on to rival and possibly even surpass Gojo Satoru, provided that she survives her tumor. Yuka is a descendant of Yuta Okkotsu, known to be his very granddaughter. She has inherited Yuta Okkotsu's immense Cursed Energy reserves. For those who do not remember, Yuta had the second greatest Cursed Energy reserve in the entire series after Ryomen Sukuna, greater than even those of Gojo.

Yuka is said to have inherited his Cursed Energy reserves, which means that right now she must have one of the highest levels of Cursed Energy in the entire world. But, that is not what makes Yuka as special as she is.

In the current era, it is Yuka Okkotsu who has inherited the power of the Ten Shadows technique. It was quite clear even in the early chapters of JJK Modulo, but Gege fully confirmed it in Chapter 15 of the series. In the battle of Yuka vs Dabura, she immediately summoned Mahoraga and hid in the shadows. Yuka being able to summon the Divine General means that she has access to one of the most powerful cursed techniques that could potentially even go on to rival the Limitless of the Gojo clan itself.

Having access to this cursed technique automatically makes Yuka one of the strongest sorcerers of the current era. She can even go on to make history if she tames Mahoraga, which no one else has done in the entire series yet.
Yuka Will Get Stronger With Rika
Yuka Was Promised The Ring of Rika
Having the Ten Shadows technique and massive Cursed Energy Reserves makes Yuka potentially the strongest of this era, but then, one also has to factor in the fact that she has access to the ring of Rika. Right now, Yuka might not have Rika's ring, given that it was given to Tsurugi by the Gojo Clan. This was likely because Yuka was born with the Ten Shadows and massive cursed energy reserves, which meant that Tsurugi could not compete with her at all.
On a surface level, this is the correct assessment from the clan. However, fans know that at the end of the day, Yuta entrusted this ring to Yuka. In other words, this means that Yuka will make use of the power of Rika at some point in the future, even if Tsurugi makes use of it temporarily.

Rika is there to protect Yuka, and given that she suffers from a brain tumor right now that is close to taking her life, it goes without saying that Rika has a huge role to play in JJK Modulo. With the power of Rika, the queen of curses, Yuka is an unstoppable monster that could go on to even surpass Gojo Satoru. Fans must remember that Yuta himself was a Gojo-level potential, and Yuka, who has 10 Shadows with Mahoraga with Rika on top, can easily surpass Gojo in power if she survives.
Yuka Could Have A Gojo-Like Moment Vs Dabura
Yuka vs Dabura is the defining moment for her character. Right now, she has essentially signed off on her own death by taking part in this battle. Either Dabura kills her, or Mahoraga does. However, if Yuka manages to survive this fight, then she might very well go on to tame Mahoraga later down the line. With Rika's power, she might even figure out a way to cure her brain tumor.
Yuka's death is being heavily set up here, but fans know for a fact that her goal is to become a sorcerer like Yuta Okkotsu and possibly even surpass him. She cannot die right now because that would defeat the entire premise of the series. Yuka Okkotsu has to have a fulfilling character arc, which means that she must survive this ordeal and do so by getting even stronger.
If Yuka manages to tame Mahoraga and gains control over the power of Rika, then she could very well have a Gojo-like epiphany in the battle against Dabura and go on to become the strongest of the current era.
Jujutsu Kaisen's sequel, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series is set 68 years into the future, after the events of Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 17 will be released on January 4, 2026.
