Jujutsu Kaisen ended almost exactly a year ago, and it definitely broke many hearts with its conclusion. Jujutsu Kaisen didn’t receive the best ending as it was rushed due to Gege’s health, and many plot points were discarded. Nevertheless, the battle against Sukuna was still intense, and one of the best in recent years in Shonen. The most intense part of this battle was definitely Sukuna vs Gojo, which fans still talk about all the time and can’t wait for the anime adaptation of. This battle saw the Strongest of two different eras collide, and it epitomized Jujutsu Sorcery in every way. Unfortunately, bout Gojo and Sukuna died in JJK's Shinjuku Showdown Arc. In the sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, Gege Akutami has introduced a character who was described as a Sukuna-level threat. This character might be even stronger than Gojo, especially when his army is taken into consideration.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 5: The First Major Battle Officially Begins

Gojo Is Strong, but The Simurian King Might Be On A Whole Other Level

Gojo is a legend in Jujutsu Kaisen. He was born with the two most powerful abilities of the Gojo clan, the Six Eyes and Limitless. With this overpowered combo, Gojo became almost invincible, and that was quite clear to see over the years. Gojo was, however, defeated during the Shinjuku Showdown arc by Sukuna. This doesn’t mean that Sukuna was stronger than Gojo, however, as the latter needed Mahoraga to take him down and also needed Gojo to be distracted to land the final blow. Nevertheless, the two were close. In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Gege has introduced a new villain, called the Simurian King.

Gojo died in JJK, but Gege just created a new Gojo in Modulo.
The Simurian King was described to be a Sukuna-level threat, but that’s just him alone. The Simurian King also has an army of 50,000 aliens at his command. With this in mind, this threat could take down even humanity’s strongest, Gojo.

With a threat as big as the Simurian King looming, and with Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo said to only have 3 volumes, fans are really wondering how characters like Yuka and Tsurugi could take down a villain this big. At the moment, the two of them would struggle against basic curses.
Yuka and Tsurugi will need to grow stronger, but even that isn’t enough. They need powerful allies. Right now, they have Maru’s help, who is quite strong in his own right. They might also get help from other traitor aliens along the way, if there are any.
But, most importantly, Yuka and Tsurugi might also get help from the now old legends who are still alive, like Yuji. Yuji might still be alive, and he is a sorcerer now on Gojo and Sukuna’s level. He alone can tip the scales in favor of the sorcerers.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended in late 2024 but can be read online for free. It is available to access on Manga Plus where this series used to be serialized weekly.
