This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo.
Dabura Karaba is one of the strongest characters to ever exist in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Although he was absent from the original story, Dabura made his debut in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, the sequel story set 68 years after the events of Shinjuku Shodown. Along with the rest of the Simurians, Dabura arrived on planet Earth at the very beginning and he was initially painted as a villain of sorts. The story continued, and more characterization was given to Dabura, and it was quite clear that he was only trying to protect his own people and establish a peaceful home next to the humans on planet Earth.
Jujutsu Kaisen Sets Up The Return Of The Real Strongest Character In Modulo
Jujutsu Kaisen's true strongest character is returning as humanity's last hope.
One thing led to another, and Dabura was forced into a battle with the humans' champion, Yuka Okkotsu, who utilized the power of Mahoraga against him. It was in this battle that Dabura made use of his two mighty cursed techniques, those being Murderous Intent and Light. It goes without saying that Dabura's cursed techniques are some of the strongest to exist in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, and fans saw the true potential of his powers in the battle against the Divine General of the Ten Shadows Technique.
Dabura Has Two Cursed Main Cursed Techniques In Light And Murderous Intent
- Dabura Is The Strongest Of The Deskunte Tribe
- His overall power rivals Ryomen Sukuna
- After Awakening, Dabura surpasses Sukuna and Gojo
Dabura Karaba is blessed with the power of two cursed techniques, being the strongest in the Deskunte tribe of the Simurian race. Dabura has the power of Murderous Intent, which is his first cursed technique. The power of Murderous Intent is rather inexplicable. The only thing that fans know about it is that it is Murderous Intent given a tangible form, which means Dabura can actually deal damage to his enemies with intent alone. This power is incredibly overpowered, but fans know very little about it at the moment. The true concept of this ability can only be understood by the Deskunte tribe, because to others, it is truly inexplicable.
Dabura has two cursed techniques; — and Light. — is Murderous Intent given tangible form, passed down the Deskunte Tribe that's impossible for humans to understand. — Narrator
Dabura's main cursed technique is called Light. As the name implies, this gives Dabura the ability to produce and manipulate light at will. Dabura can hit his enemies with a flurry of light beams or impale them with pillars of light. Given that his attacks move at the speed of light, they are nearly impossible for anyone to dodge, and most simply fall in a single hit. This is why Dabura reigns supreme as the strongest in the Deskunte tribe and why he never fought any enemy who could rival him in terms of power. Even the strongest of the Rumelians, that is, Dura, was not able to hold his own in battle against Dabura.
However, when Dabura fought Mahoraga, for the first time, he found a worthy opponent. Mahoraga adapted to Dabura's light rather quickly, and it was clear that, regardless of what Dabura did, be it impaling him with pillars of light or throwing a flurry of light beams at him, Mahoraga simply continued to adapt and eventually got used to his powers.
It was in the fight against Mahoraga that Dabura truly felt fear for the very first time and thought he might actually go on to lose the battle. Dabura's light cursed technique was fully adapted to by the Divine General, which meant that he had to push himself beyond all his limits, and that is where his first power-up came in.
Dabura Can Move At Sublight Speeds
By applying his cursed technique to his own body, Dabura was able to move at sub-light speeds. This means that his overall physical attributes are so tremendously high that he can actually catch up to light at times and deliver hits at the speed of light.
Dabura was able to move so fast and collide with Mahoraga that a portion of Tokyo actually collapsed; however, even this powerful hit was not strong enough to take down Mahoraga.
Dura, I will become a warrior. I will surpass all my limits. — Dabura Karaba
5 New Cursed Techniques As Strong As Gojo's Limitless In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo
Gojo's Limitless is powerful, but these Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo cursed techniques could rival it.
Given that the simpler the hit, the easier it is for Mahoraga to adapt, only one hit was enough for him to adapt to the power of light-speed hits, and the Divine General returned once again. This forced Dabura to evolve even further as a sorcerer, and this is when he developed the power to reverse his cursed technique.
Dabura Can Use Cursed Technique Reversal To Create Darkness
- Dabura Can Create Darkness With Cursed Technique Reversal
In JJK Modulo chapter 20, Dabura figured out the way to reverse the flow of cursed energy through his circuit, and this gave him access to Cursed Technique Reversal. This is very similar to how Gojo tapped into the power of Red for the very first time.
Gojo had access to Blue and the neutral Infinity, and he was clearly able to use it at a very high level by the time he was in high school. However, it is the power of Red that he struggled with, given that it required more concentration in his curse energy and, of course, twice the amount of cursed energy output. Eventually, in the battle against Toji, Gojo figured out how to use reverse cursed technique, and with that came cursed technique reversal. The same applies to Dabura Karaba.
In the battle against Mahoraga, Dabura figured out how to use reverse cursed technique to heal his lost leg. Then, he figured out how to reverse his whole cursed technique and create something entirely different, since Mahoraga had adapted to light-speed physical hits as well as the base technique of light. Dabura created Darkness by using Cursed Technique Reversal. This darkness is twice as strong as light and consumes a lot of cursed energy as well. It is also likely to take out Mahoraga in a single hit, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how powerful Dabura truly is.
Dabura Should Be Able To Create A Hollow Technique
- Dabura Can Fuse Light And Darkness Together
Dabura's powers don't stop at light and darkness. It is quite clear to see that, now, Dabura has access to both light and darkness, and just like Gojo, he should be able to put the two together and create a Hollow technique. Gojo was able to create Hollow Purple by colliding the two infinities of Red and Blue. This gave rise to Hollow Purple, which was an imaginary mass capable of deleting just about everything in its path.
For Dabura, something similar should be possible if he puts light and darkness together. He might give rise to a massive black hole in the middle of Tokyo that consumes just about everything. This will go on to become his strongest technique that not even Mahoraga can survive.
More than that, fans should keep their eyes on his battle against Yuji Itadori. Once Dabura vs Yuji begins, he will learn other powerful abilities, such as Simple Domains, and with that, he will develop the power of Domain Expansion. Once Dabura learns Domain Expansion and imbues his technique in the domain itself, he might just become the strongest sorcerer to have ever existed, rivaling Yuji Itadori, who has already surpassed the likes of Gojo and Sukuna.
