Kenjaku, also known as Pseudo-Geto, is a sorcerer who’s been around for thousands of years. He’s been hopping from one body to the next to cause chaos, carnage, and catastrophe. He is the mastermind behind the Shibuya Incident and the Culling Game, both of which are bloodbaths that took the lives of countless innocent people.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Kenjaku is one of the masterminds behind most of the terrible things that happen in J ujutsu Kaisen. That being said, the most bizarre event involving this vicious sorcerer has to be that time when he initiated a meeting with the US Government. In this article, we’ll talk about what happened during this unlikely meeting, why this meeting happened in the first place, and how it affected the Culling Game.

The Secret Meeting

Jujutsu Kaisen Kenjaku Meets US President

In February 2018, right before the beginning of the Shibuya Incident, Kenjaku and Uraume set up a meeting with the upper echelons of the U.S. Government, including the president. In this meeting, he revealed the existence of cursed energy, cursed spirits, and the jujutsu sorcerers in Japan.

A New Source of Clean Energy

Kenjaku wanted to entice the US Government to send quite a sizable number of soldiers to several Culling Game’s colonies. Kenjaku presented the cursed energy as a new source of clean energy. He even showed them video recordings taken by Mechamaru, showcasing the power of the jujutsu sorcerers, and the raw amount of energy that they managed to produce.

This absurd level of energy output can easily be used to power an entire country. So Kenjaku proposed an outrageous plan to these groups of bewildered people. He urged them to kidnap several dozen sorcerers and forcefully harnessed their cursed energy. Hearing this shocking proposal, the top brass was surprised and hesitant. But everything changed once one of the president’s top officials voiced his honest opinion.

This is a vein of gold. If we do not seize it, we’ll fall behind.

A Demonstration

While Cyrus Veil actively urged the president to accept Kenjaku’s proposal, the other top officials were still not convinced. Some were questioning the legitimacy of the cursed energy as an alternative energy, while others were questioning Kenjaku’s true intention. As a way to quench their doubt, Kenjaku offered a little demonstration on how powerful cursed energy actually is.

Kenjaku said that he would subdue every Secret Service and active military and security personnel in and around the white house without using anything but his cursed energy. Everybody laughs at his ridiculous statement. That is until they witness the terrifying cursed spirit that lifts the soldiers and smashes them to the ground. Kenjaku’s proposal is accepted.

So why did a vicious jujutsu sorcerer like Kenjaku set up a meeting with the US Government? The answer has to do with the true purpose of the Culling Game. Kenjaku has always wanted to force humanity to evolve into beings that can manipulate cursed energy, either as jujutsu sorcerers or as cursed spirits.

After experimenting for hundreds of years, he found the best method to achieve such an unbelievable feat. Kenjaku concluded that by forcefully combining the essence of an immortal being like Master Tengen with the people of Japan, he could force them to evolve.

The problem is, he needs a massive amount of cursed energy to achieve such a feat. The Culling Game is a way to harness that cursed energy. Every sorcerer and cursed spirit that lost their life during the Culling Game will release a huge amount of cursed energy that can be used for Kenjaku’s ritual.

For the Culling Game, Kenjaku divided Japan into four massive colonies—two colonies in Tokyo, one colony in Sendai, and another one in Sakurajima. Deathly battle royals are happening in every single colony, which quickly fills up the necessary amount of cursed energy for the Kenjaku’s ritual.

Unfortunately, apart from the first Tokyo Colony and Sendai Colony, the amount of curse energy produced by each colony is still lacking. So to make up for it, Kenjaku decided to send around a thousand non-sorcerers into the colonies and kill them all.

Normally, non-sorcerers barely have any cursed energy, but Kenjaku found that in their dying moments, especially if it is a painful death, non-sorcerers will release quite a decent amount of cursed energy. That’s why he lured the US government to send their precious soldiers to unknowingly participate in the Culling Game. This is his backup plan to procure enough cursed energy.

The Inevitable Carnage

Guns & Muscle vs Spirits & Sorcerers

On the night of November 14th, 2018, about a thousand elite US soldiers entered various Culling Game colonies. They come with Humvees, trucks, Chinook choppers, and even a couple of C-130 Hercules transport aircraft. Needless to say, they are all armed to the teeth.

Upon landing, the troops immediately disperse and begin hunting the unsuspecting jujutsu sorcerers in the area. They managed to capture quite a few low-level sorcerers, such as Remi, and even kill some mid-level ones, such as Haba. But once they go after high-level sorcerers, such as Yuji and Megumi, that’s when the true difference in power becomes clear. As expected, dozens of highly trained soldiers can’t hold a candle against a single jujutsu sorcerer.

Unleashed the Spirits

To accelerate the massacre, Kenjaku unleashed numerous reasonably strong cursed spirits all over the colonies. It doesn’t take a long time for the soldiers to meet these bloodthirsty monsters. The result of this unfortunate encounter is a one-sided bloodbath.

Just several hours after the US troops landed in Japan and involuntarily participated in the Culling Game, they were either beaten to a pulp by ruthless jujutsu sorcerers or became the nourishment for the flesh-eating cursed spirits.

The US Government wanted to gain a head start in procuring a new source of clean energy even if it meant kidnapping and experimenting on Japanese citizens. What they don’t realize, however, they’ve been running around in Kenjaku’s palm this whole time. What started as a seemingly beneficial meeting, ended with a bloody massacre.
