This article contains spoilers from Jujutsu Kaisen's Shinjuku Showdown arc.

Gojo Satoru was certainly one of the most powerful sorcerers in all of JJK, and fans know him to be a monster in combat. He could only be rivaled by Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, and together, these two were a cut above the rest. When it comes to Gojo specifically, fans know that he had mastered the Limitless Cursed Technique, and coupled with the Six Eyes, he was essentially untouchable.

The internet's going to explode once fans see these amazing Jujutsu Kaisen fights get animated.

Gojo was a genius right from birth, but that certainly doesn't mean that he did not work hard. His limitless talent was brought to the surface through rigorous hard work, and, in many ways, he was a blend of talent and hardwork. Still, when it comes to his talent, fans know that hardly anyone was as gifted as him in JJK. That said, there are a select few individuals in JJK who are said to hold a similar level of potential to Gojo, and could reach a level similar to him in their primes.

Megumi Fushiguro

The User Of The Ten Shadows Technique

Megumi is one of the main characters in JJK. He was always a friendly rival to Yuji Itadori, but more than that, Megumi was an individual that Gojo believed would reach tremendous heights. In fact, Gojo himself implied that Megumi, who is the current user of the 10 Shadows Inherited Technique, could one day reach his level.

Gojo implied this directly when he mentioned that a former head of the Zenin Family and a former head of the Gojo Family ended up killing each other due to being on a similar level of strength. These individuals held the 10 Shadows Technique and the Six Eyes and Limitless technique respectively. This was essentially Gojo's way of saying that Megumi could one day reach his level of strength. Even though Megumi was cut out from a significant portion of the series, having Sukuna fight in his body most likely gave him muscle memory of his combat style. Megumi might even have access to the Shrine cursed technique, just as Yuji gained access to it. On top of that, his control over the 10 Shadows Technique should now be far better than before, and right now, he might just be one of the strongest in the world.

Hiromi Higuruma

The User Of The Judgeman Shikigami

Hiromi Higuruma is known to be an incredible genius. Despite having cursed energy just for 2 months or so, Higuruma reached an incredibly high level of strength. He was one of the awakened players who gained a Cursed Technique thanks to Kenjaku. Higuruma fought in the Culling Game, and he awakened many abilities in a short amount of time. Despite being new to this power, he even managed to reverse engineer a Domain Expansion, which just went to show how massive a genius he truly was.

Using his lethal cursed technique which could essentially one-shot the vast majority of his enemies, Higuruma became a force to be reckoned with. But that's certainly not all. Higuruma also managed to figure out how to utilize Reverse Cursed Technique just by watching Sukuna. At the same time, he also figured out how to use Domain Amplification, and he was directly compared to Gojo, talent-wise. As he's allowed to mature, Higuruma will most definitely become a sorcerer as good as Gojo himself.

Fumihiko Takaba

The Wielder Of The Most Dangerous Cursed Technique

Comedian, Fumihiko Takaba ability

Fumuhiko Takaba’s Cursed Technique is certainly the most dangerous in JJK. In fact, it is said that his technique could rival even that of Gojo, because anything that he finds funny can become a reality. He can fight battles in the most exciting ways, and essentially, if he ever is to gain a true grasp over his technique, then he will be a fearsome sorcerer that cannot be rivaled by anyone in the world of JJK right now, not even Gojo. Doing things like healing without cursed technique, changing reality, pausing reality like a video game, and restarting, can all be possible if he learns to control his powers.

Yuta Okkotsu

The User Of The Copy Technique And Rika

Gojo's very own successor, Yuta Okkotsu is certainly among the sorcerers who can one day go on to reach his level. Yuta is a force to be reckoned with, especially with Rika at his side. His Cursed Energy reserves are already greater than those of Gojo, but that certainly isn't all. Yuta also possesses a presence far more sinister than Gojo, and his control over cursed energy is excellent as well.

Yuta’s Cursed Technique, called Copy, gives him access to many incredible abilities, and he has shown in the battle against Sukuna that he is incredibly resilient. If Megumi were to join the side of the sorcerers from the beginning, Yuta would have essentially defeated Sukuna long ago with his flawless strategy. Yuta performed tremendously in the fight against Sukuna, even going as far as using Shrine, and even claiming Gojo's body to fight. In Gojo's body, he likely picked up even more experience, which means right now, he is at a level higher than an average Special Grade.

Yuji Itadori

The User Of Shrine And Blood Manipulation

Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of the series, is another sorcerer with the potential to rival Gojo. Fans know that Yuji is in a league of his own. He possesses the same level of potential as Sukuna himself, which was confirmed by the author directly in the manga. Yuji did not hit his peak at the end of JJK, but fans know for a fact that his level of strength continued to grow even further and that at some point before JJK Modulo he matured fully, and most likely reached the same level as Gojo and Sukuna. Given that he has the same Cursed Technique as Sukuna, his prime was likely impossible to match.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 will officially premiere in January 2026 on Crunchyroll.
