Jujutsu Kaisen fans would be delighted to know that the story written by Gege Akutami is officially getting a sequel story, called Jujutsu Kaisen 3 Modulo. The story is written by Gege Akutami himself, and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki. The biggest question that the fans had about Modulo was what the premise of the story was going to be. Now, it has officially been confirmed that it is going to be set in the same world as Jujutsu Kaisen, but that's not all.

Jujutsu Kaisen 3 Modulo is actually going to be focused on none other than Yuta and Maki's grandchildren, who were previously seen in a JJK one-shot. These two characters are going to lead the story forward, and they will be the protagonist of the new manga. Fans are incredibly excited to see what they end up delivering in the story moving forward, and the expectations for them are very high, especially since they are grandkids of beloved JJK characters.

News about Jujutsu Kaisen 3 Modulo started breaking earlier today, and it was officially confirmed that the series is a continuation of the original manga. The JKK oneshot ended with a major timeskip of over 60 years, and that's exactly where the series picks up from. Back then, fans saw the grandkids of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin and didn't think much of it. Now, it's been revealed that they're the protagonists of the story. Yuta's grandson is named Tsugiri Okkotsu, while his granddaughter is named Yuuki Okkotsu. It is said that Yuta was closer to Yukki, while Maki was closer to Tsugiri while they were alive.

Speaking of which, it might come as a shock to the fans to know that Maki Zenin died early in JJK. After her death, Yuta started to lose his powers, and this is largely because his powers are love-based. After his strength waned, Yuta died as well, and now, the story continues through their grandkids. While Tsugiri was trained directly by Maki Zenin in the ways of the sword, Yuta gave his Rika ring to Yuuka, which makes the future of the story very exciting.

The Gojo Clan Is Heavily Involved In JJK 3 Modulo

While not everything has been revealed about the story already, what fans can say is that the Gojo Clan is very much alive in the Jujutsu Kaisen world. Yuta was the leader of the Gojo Clan until his death, but now that he's gone, control has shifted. The Gojo Clan decided to strip Yuuka of the Rika ring and instead give it to Tsugiri. It seems that Rika is going to be especially important in the story moving forward, especially since she's the last legacy of Yuta Okkotsu that's left behind.

Above all, Tsugiri and Yuuka must join forces to combat the new threat, which appears to be aliens in Jujutsu Kaisen. No longer are cursed spirits the only threat in the world of JJK. Now, aliens have started emerging as well, and, likely, a threat even bigger than Ryomen Sukuna will soon show itself.
