Under normal circumstances, there would have been absolutely no chance of Gojo Satoru being sealed away, but Kenjaku's meticulous plan tricked the former and led him into the trap. With Gojo Satoru locked away, Japan fell into chaos as Kenjaku had complete freedom to do whatever he desired. All of this led to the Culling Game, the biggest act of terrorism in Jujutsu Kaisen's history.

The Culling Game is going to be the main focus of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. Initially, there were doubts among some fans that Itadori Yuji's Extermination Arc might take a bit longer to conclude, but everything was wrapped up in two episodes. Now that Itadori is free to move around, he can finally participate in the Culling Game.
What makes the competition so dangerous is that there is no way to stop the murder of thousands of innocent people. They will have to participate in the Culling Game and defend themselves from others who are trying to kill them. Megumi's sister, Tsukimi, is also being forced to participate, and, given her condition, she has no prayer of making it out alive. Therefore, Megumi and the rest of the heroes will have to compete in the Culling Game and try to come up with a solution that could stop innocents from dying.
A major kicker is that a contestant cannot come up with a rule that can impede the Culling Game. So, they need to find an ingenious way to stop the competition. It is worth mentioning that Itadori and co. Don't have just one goal, but they also have to find a way to save Gojo Satoru.

After meeting with Tengen, Itadori knows that the only rational way to save Gojo Satoru is by meeting with Angel, a participant in the Culling Game. She is said to have the ability to erase any cursed technique, so if Yuji can convince her to get rid of the Prison Realm, then Gojo Satoru would be free. However, it won't be so easy, especially when she is also competing in the Culling Game. Even if Yuji did find Angel, she wouldn't readily agree to his request unless he offered something of equal interest in exchange.
Gojo Satoru's rescue is highly important to the survival of humanity, as there are several villains in Jujutsu Kaisen who will have no problem eradicating millions of people. The first of these names is that of Sukuna, the King of Curses. Even though he is not ready to be reborn, no sane individual can ignore him altogether, especially after what he did in Shibuya. Sukuna destroyed multiple buildings and killed so many people that it made Yuji suicidal. The latter was more than happy to be killed because of what transpired.
Yuta And Yuji Will Be At The Center Of Attention
Until Gojo Satoru is freed from the Prison Realm, the complete focus will be on Yuta and Yuji. Yuta, in particular, will be under more pressure, as he is arguably the strongest sorcerer now. Not only does he have to help Gojo, but he also has to make sure that Kenjaku is not successful in his endeavor. Normally, a sorcerer with Kenjaku's level of experience will be a problem for any person, but Yuta Okkotsu is different. After all, he possesses Rika, a special grade cursed spirit that can make short work of most individuals. It grants him immense cursed energy, allowing him to use multiple cursed techniques.
His innate cursed technique, Copycat, allows him to imitate the cursed techniques of others. While Yuta is an amazing fighter, Yuji is not too bad himself. He also has a good amount of cursed energy. Moreover, he can use Black Flash, a potent attack capable of incapacitating most enemies. The combined strength of Yuta and Yuji will certainly be a problem for Kenjaku, and that's what fans will be eagerly waiting to watch.
