Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is becoming increasingly exciting by the second, especially as Gege Akutami, the author of the series, delves into details from the major timeskip in the story. As fans know already, Jujutsu Kaisen officially entered a massive timeskip after the conclusion of the story. The series is set 68 years following the conclusion of the Shinjuku Showdown, and that means the era has officially changed. Even the likes of Yuji Itadori are now old, and the new generation, featuring the likes of Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu are here.

The biggest romance has been confirmed in JJK, and more might be coming in the future.
That said, fans are just as eager to find out bits about Yuji Itadori and the old generation, especially from the timeskip period. Thankfully for the fans, Jujutsu Kaisen has now given them an official look at Yuji Itadori from the timeskip era. At the same time, Gege Akutami also gave the fans a small glimpse of the true power level of Yuji Itadori as an adult, and needless to say, he grew to become an absolute monster. Yuji was as strong as a Special Grade sorcerer as an adult, but as fans know, he was closer to the likes of Gojo and Sukuna than Suguru.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 6, the author, Gege Akutami, gave the fans a small tease of Yuji Itadori from the original series. Ever since Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo began, fans have been waiting to see Yuji Itadori return, even if it is as a sorcerer way past his prime. Yuji is a beloved character and fans will always want to see more of him. As such, fans were adamant that at some point, he would appear. JJK Modulo Chapter 6 did just that, as Yuji officially showed up in a small flashback.

This flashback is most definitely set after the end of Jujutsu Kaisen. As Takeda fought against Maru at his full potential, he felt terror throughout his body. This is because Maru was completely overwhelming him in terms of power, despite his overall skill being good enough to overwhelm Tsurugi and even Yuka at the same time. When Takeda first showed up, Tsurugi estimated him to be a Grade 1 level sorcerer, but it was soon clear that his true abilities were far greater.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami Has Officially Revealed The Strongest Trio
The strongest and most important trio of JJK has been revealed, and it isn't Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara.
Maru was able to easily overwhelm him in combat and it goes without saying that Maru, when in his awakened state, was on the level of a true Special Grade. According to Takeda, the only time he felt such fear and overwhelming defeat was when he fought Yuji Itadori. In other words, Yuji, in his prime, was close to Maru in skill or even better.

Yuji Overwhelmed A Grade 1 With Ease
Yuji Itadori being close to the power of the Special Grades in Jujutsu Kaisen is no surprise to anyone. Fans know very well that Yuji Itadori is an incredibly powerful sorcerer, and his battle against Sukuna made that very clear. On top of that, it is also very clear that Yuji Itadori only had more potential energy to grow into after the conclusion of the Sukuna battle. As such, his being a Special Grade is a given. By the time Yuji fought and beat Takeda, he must've been a monstrously powerful character strong enough to take down just about anyone.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended in late 2024 but can be read online for free. It is available on Manga Plus where the series used to be serialized weekly.
