Jujutsu Kaisen is incredibly close to its end now, and fans are heading into the final week of the serialization of this incredible manga. It is safe to say that, by now, Jujutsu Kaisen has already built an incredible legacy for itself, and that it will always remain extremely popular among fans from all over the world. It is safe to say that the final arc of the series, which is now just about to conclude, is one that will leave fans on the edge of their seats until the very last panel of the last chapter.

But, even more than that, it appears that there is more stuff for JJK fans to look forward to. As it so happens, there is going to be an incredibly massive announcement next week, which is set to drop with the final chapter of JJK. At the same time, a message from the editor makes this announcement seem even bigger, and it might be that fans have not seen the last of their favorite characters from this series.

Jujutsu Kaisen Teases A Major Announcement For Next Week

  • Jujutsu Kaisen Ends Next Week
  • A Major Announcement Gives Fans Hope

With information about the upcoming JJK chapter 270 flowing over the course of the last few hours, fans are incredibly excited because it appears that while the series is ending next week, there is something massive that is to follow immediately after. JJK is concluding in Issue #44 of the weekly Shonen Jump, which means next week, the series should be marking its conclusion. Undoubtedly, this is a sad moment for fans, especially because JJK is a series that still has a tremendous amount of potential, and, to most fans, it feels like a story that is far from over. This series needs a proper conclusion and, despite the Culling Game being incredibly exciting, and the events of Shinjuku moving fans greatly, especially at the beginning phase, it wouldn't be inaccurate to say that this series could have been so much more.

There is more to come! – JJK Editor

Keeping that in mind, fans have always wanted JJK to get a proper sequel, and for the story to continue and tie up the loose ends that the story has still left behind. All that might be possible now, and it appears that a sequel might just be on the way. To be clear, nothing is official yet, but, what fans know now is that a major happy announcement will be made alongside JJK's final chapter next week, that is, JJK chapter 271. Fans should also keep in mind that Jujutsu Kaisen is going to get a center color page in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44. All these things simply add up to say that JJK might be making fans sad next week, but, it might not be for nothing, because the series could end up returning with the sequel, or, something of sorts later down the line.

JJK's Editor Message Gets The Fans Excited

The Editors Message Implies There Is More To Come

Of course, any announcement that comes with the final chapter is bound to be incredibly massive. But, that by itself isn't enough to tell the fans that JJK is going to continue. For instance, when My Hero Academia ended, a similar announcement was made, and later on, it turned out that this announcement was referring to a Worldwide Popularity Poll instead of a sequel or a proper spin-off. This was a great disappointment to the fans, especially because this announcement was teased to be absolutely massive for the fans in many ways.

One last battle before the end! – JJK Editor

Something similar could happen with Jujutsu Kaisen as well. But, the chances of that being the case are very low. This is simply down to the fact that Jujutsu Kaisen editor left a very interesting message with the latest announcement. Curiously enough, the editor’s message that was dropped along with this announcement simply states that there is more to come. Of course, this can only be interpreted in one way, and it appears that a sequel for Jujutsu Kaisen truly is in the works. In one way or another, it is looking increasingly likely that JJK is bound to continue. Whether it is through movies that build up the events after the conclusion of this manga, or, it is actually a Part 2 to the manga, fans know that there is certainly potential for JJK to continue later down the line.

Of course, JJK chapter 270 is not officially out yet, and in this article, at the very least, no spoilers will be dropped. But, what fans know is that the way the story is moving forward towards the last chapter simply doesn't feel like a finale at all. In fact, there are more plot points opening than ending, which suggests that this might not be the end for JJK at all. Things are looking more exciting than ever before, and fans absolutely cannot wait for next week, to finally see whether JJK is going to end or if the series is going to continue.

Will Jujutsu Kaisen Get A Sequel?

The Chances Of Jujutsu Kaisen Getting A Sequel Are Low, But Certainly Not Zero

The question of whether JJK will get a sequel or not is a very interesting one. It is also something that no fan can answer with 100% certainty. Only the author can provide the answer, and fans will find out in a week's time. At this point in time, however, they can only be guesses from the fans based on what little information is provided through chapter 270, and the latest announcement. Then again, there is a completely different perspective, which is entirely based on what the story needs to have a proper conclusion. If one looks at it that way, then, JJK should absolutely get a sequel story here. There are too many loose ends and the story, and given the way the last few chapters have been set up, things simply don't feel like they are concluding. Instead, It feels like greater things are being set up for the future of JJK, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see where these plot lines lead them to.

Of course, if JJK simply ends, then these plot points will simply leave a sour taste in the mouths of the fans, because they would not be going anywhere and would be left with an ambiguous ending. But, that is precisely why there is massive hope for a JJK sequel as well. Fans are desperately waiting for JJK Part 2, and hopefully, the announcement for it will arrive soon enough.

In a week's time, fans will finally find out whether Jujutsu Kaisen is going to truly end forever, or if the franchise is going to continue through some form. There are many exciting plot points still to be tackled, and it is highly unlikely that a single chapter is going to wrap them all up. Hopefully, there is more to come and this amazing franchise continues for many more years.
