Jujutsu Kaisen ended a few months ago, but still, to this day, fans are waiting for more information from the author on various events across the story, especially the Final arc. While JJK's end was satisfying for some fans, others were quick to point out all the plot points that needed to be addressed. At the same time, it is no surprise to know that Gege's health did quite a number on him and forced him to wrap up certain things quicker than he would've liked to.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Reveals His Inspiration For Megumi Fushiguro
Gege Akutami reveals to fans which characters he was inspired by for Megumi's character in JJK.
Thankfully, Gege is always there to provide more information about various things in the manga, and that's what happened recently at the JJK exhibition, where the author revealed a ton of exciting information to all the readers of the story. In an exciting reveal, Gege went over the most dangerous sorcerers in the last part of JJK and some picks are certainly very surprising.
Ryomen Sukuna — The Final Villain Of Jujutsu Kaisen
- Sukuna Was The Biggest Villain in the Series
- Sukuna Ended Up Killing Gojo
It goes without saying that the biggest danger in the last part of JJK was the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Fans knew that Sukuna was the biggest threat in the story right from the beginning, so this is no surprise. In fact, Gege didn't even need to comment on Sukuna to tell the fans that he was one of the three most dangerous sorcerers. After all, the might of the King of Curses was impeccable and his portrayal clearly conveyed that to the fans.
I'm feeling great right now. Don't go ahead and ruin that feeling. — Sukuna to Kashimo
Sukuna fought against Gojo Satoru, the strongest modern sorcerer, in Jujutsu Kaisen's last arc, and there, he ended up killing him. Regardless of how strong Gojo was, he lowered his guard against the King of Curses, and that's something that nobody should ever do. This one mistake cost Gojo the whole battle, while Sukuna lived on.
Gojo Was The Biggest Threat To Sukuna
Gojo Satoru Could've Beaten Sukuna
Unsurprisingly, Gojo Satoru was one of the biggest threats to Sukuna in the Shinjuku Showdown arc of the story. Gojo was a monster in combat and largely even with Sukuna. In fact, he could even have gone ahead and beaten Sukuna had he not lowered his guard. The author himself confirmed that the biggest reason why Gojo lost was down to the fact that he lowered his guard. Gojo was one of the two sorcerers that Sukuna thought he could lose to, and that's saying a lot.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Latest Gege Akutami Reveal Confirms That Gojo Was Nerfed During His Fight Vs Sukuna
Gojo was nerfed in his fight against Sukuna. Gege's words confirm this in the new Q&A for JJK.
Haven't we had enough of Gojo Satoru already? — Gojo
Yuta and Yuji Were The Second Biggest Threat
The only other sorcerer that could've worried Sukuna to the point that he thought he might lose was Yuji Itadori. After the death of Gojo Satoru, there were multiple Sorcerers who posed a big threat to Sukuna, but none were as big as Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of the series. Yuta Okkotsu can also be considered to be up there, especially since he had two opportunities to finish off the King of Curses.
In Sukuna's mind, there were only a few threats to him, and initially, he only considered Gojo to be a threat. But as the battle unfolded, it became increasingly clear in the story that Gojo was not the only threat to the King of Curses. Characters such as Yuta and Yuji posed a big threat to him as well, and as the battle unfolded this became clear. Yuju's awakening, along with Yuta's resolve to take Gojo's body are proof of that.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s last chapter, JJK 271, was finally released on September 29, 2024. Fans can read the series on the Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump apps.
