Atsuya Kusakabe is a Grade 1 sorcerer who has purely made it based on his skill with a sword. While most Grade 1 sorcerers and, in general, most sorcerers in the world of JJK are users of different cursed techniques, Kusakabe certainly is not one of them. He does not have any cursed technique, however, he can still utilize cursed energy in combat.

Fans have seen him utilize a simple domain and they have also seen him utilize cursed energy to reinforce themselves and his powerful sword as well. He is a great swordsman and someone who has made it all this way without even relying on a cursed technique. This makes him the only Grade 1 sorcerer in JJK without this power, and a special individual indeed.

4 Cursed Corpse

Cursed Corpse is an incredible innate technique that is utilized by none other than Masamichi Yaga. This technique, as the name suggests, sees him create a puppet and then infuse it with a cursed energy core, giving it life and controlling it with his incantations. It is incredibly difficult for one to bring these dolls to life, yet, someone as talented as Yaga could actually pull this off, which is staggering, to say the least.

Fans have seen him utilize this technique on many occasions and quite a lot of them are extremely impressive. The most impressive of them all Is none other than Panda, who fans have seen quite often in JJK pulling off amazing things and fighting even monstrously powerful enemies.

3 Black Bird Manipulation

These crows can follow orders even at the cost of their own lives, which just goes to show the incredible loyalty they have to her. They are also incredibly useful offensively. They can create distractions, and, if ever needed, they can even kill. In fact, Mei Mei was able to kill a Special Grade with her Bird Strike technique, which is believed to be the strongest that she has under her belt and a user of the Black Bird Manipulation.

The Ratio Technique is used by none other than Kento Nanami and it is certainly one of the strongest cursed techniques that any Grade 1 sorcerer has ever used in JJK. Essentially, this technique sees the user measure their target's body in 10 equal parts and create a weak point at the 7:3 ratio point. This part, when struck, deals incredible damage to the user and that is truly the essence of this technique. The ratio technique is absolutely incredible and certainly one of the most dangerous abilities to exist in JJK.

When Nanami goes into Overtime, his techniques become even more dangerous. In fact, with Overtime, he can utilize an extension technique known as Collapse, which then allows him to use this ratio ability on a wide target, not just one person. It is one of the most amazing powers that fans have seen in JJK over the years, and the weak point that it creates is such that even cursed energy enforcement might not be enough at some points.

1 Boogie Woogie

Of course, Boogie Woogie, which fans know to be the cursed technique of Aoi Todo, is one of the most incredible powers revealed in the story. This ability has been utilized by Todo on many occasions. Simply put, it allows Todo to use his claps to swap his position with anyone else on the battlefield, as long as they have cursed energy over a certain small amount. He can also swap the places of two other individuals at will, and that is what makes this technique truly dangerous.
