This article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is doing an incredible job at setting up a new world and introducing new elements to the story. Gege Akutami has breathed new life into an already established world and made it even better than before. It goes without saying that Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is doing everything perfectly so far, and that's precisely why fans are enjoying it as much as they are.

So far, the author has given tremendous focus to aspects like world-building, but now it seems Gege is also working towards the action side of the story. With the goal of the series being coexistence between humans and Simurians, Gege set up a solid basis for the story. For a while, it even seemed as if this coexistence was easy to accomplish, but now it can officially be said that a war between humans and Simurians will soon break out. Gege Akutami has set up a massive war in Modulo, and it could very well surpass even the Sukuna raid, a war that scarred Shinjuku and changed the entire world for good.

Jujutsu Kaisen Officially Sets Up War Against Simurians

When Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo began, fans believed that the Simurians were the villains of the story and that they were outright evil. With time, the exact opposite was revealed to the fans. The Simurians had their own reasons to come to Earth and they simply wanted to coexist with those on Earth. Their motivations were deep and fans truly connected with them, thanks to Gege's incredible writing. Unfortunately, co-existence isn't going to be easy and even if it does end up happening later down the line, it seems a war breaking out first is inevitable.

Maybe we should tie our races together with a political marriage? — Japanese Sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 11 saw to it that flames of war were fanned between the two races. Although their relationship was going very well up until now, a major incident occurred that will change the entire basis of this relationship forever, and force a war between humans and Simurians.

Human-Simurian Relationship Is Breaking Down

In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 11, fans saw one of the Rumelian Elders feel tremendous pain as he was crying from his third eye. As explained by Gege Akutami previously, Rumelians cry from their third eye when a Kalyan dies, and these Kalyan are said to be deities to them, especially since they gave them their Rolloluca, or cursed energy. As revealed in the previous chapter, the elder was crying simply because he saw humans kill a Kalyan. Naturally, fans would be confused at this since there are no Kalyans on Earth.

They're not to be trusted. I saw it myself! The humans...they killed a Kalyan! — A Simurian Elder In JJK Modulo Chapter 11

However, it seems that Kalyan might just be cursed spirits on this planet, and humans exorcize them, which makes co-existence between humans and Rumelians impossible, at least for now. It also means that a war is inevitable. The Simurians will eventually change their mind if this keeps up and they'll attack Japan with their full might. In that case, a war bigger than the battle against Sukuna will officially break out.

The Human-Simurian Conflict Will Be Bigger Than The Sukuna War

The Sukuna war of Jujutsu Kaisen was massive and there is no denying that. However, it was one man who was up against a bunch of sorcerers. The battle with Simurians is much more dangerous. They have an army of 50,000 powerful warriors and they even have strong sorcerers that can qualify for Special Grade, like Maru and Cross. Their biggest weapon, Dabura, is a threat as big as Sukuna himself. All things considered, this is a threat far bigger than Sukuna, and if war breaks out, Japan will most likely be destroyed.

This is precisely why Japan needs to find Yuji Itadori, now more than ever before. With Yuji at their side, Japan will have its own deterrent, and if war breaks out, then at least they'll have a monstrously powerful fighter at their disposal. Unfortunate as it is, it seems that the humans and Simurians are headed to war in Jujutsu Kaisen, and there's nothing that can be done to stop it. Hopefully, the next few chapters of JJK Modulo will clarify the fate of the world.
