Gojo Satoru's Everyday Schedule As A Jujutsu Sorcerer

Gege Akutami Revealed Satoru's Hectic Schedule

Normally, fans believe that anime characters lead a cushy life, and they rarely have to work hard. But Gege Akutami has proved them wrong. According to the author, Gojo Satoru is extremely busy and rarely has time for himself.

  • 04:00–07:00: Sleep and recover. Satoru takes a three-hour nap every day. For a normal human, sleeping for at least eight hours is recommended. It is a miracle that Satoru is able to perform at the highest level with just three hours of sleep. It has been stated that he lives in a room within Jujutsu Tech as his workload is way too much. Gojo Satoru also doesn't get any time off, making it even more difficult to stay focused.
  • 07:00-07:30: Wake up and go to Jujutsu High. This is arguably the least taxing activity that Satoru performs on a daily basis. It just involves him leaving his room and heading to class.
  • 08:30–20:00: Classwork and missions. Gojo Satoru spends the majority of the day performing his duties as a teacher. He has to escort students to sites, take their attendance, and teach every single one of them separately. He needs to make sure that his approach is different for every student so that they can develop at a steady pace. Gojo also takes his students to eat out of kindness. Sometimes he falls asleep while waiting for his students. On business trips, Satoru finds ways to lessen the load. He will send his students to deal with the problem in the name of letting them gain more experience. Sometimes Gojo Satoru has to complete high-level missions, which end up taking most of his time. However, he still manages to find some time for his students and his other duties as a teacher.
  • 20:00–22:00: Meeting with the principal and the other higher-ups. After dealing with missions and other duties, Satoru is summoned by the higher-ups to discuss important tasks. Most of the time, he ends up having a heated exchange with them. In the majority of cases, it happens due to a difference of opinion.
  • 22:00–04:00: Preparing for administrative work. Gojo Satoru's duties don't end after the meetings. In fact, he needs to make preparations for the next day.

Just by glancing at the schedule, it is rather obvious that Gojo Satoru is buried neck-deep in work and duties. He hardly gets any time to focus on himself and doing things he likes.

It is hard to argue against Satoru being one of the best, if not the best character in Jujutsu Kaisen. What makes Gojo Satoru stand out from the rest is the combination of his personality, looks, and abilities. Despite having the reputation of the world's strongest sorcerer, Satoru is not serious all the time. In fact, he is one of the most humorous characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. From his very first appearance, it became apparent that Satoru was not going to be a laconic and rigid individual.

Dying To Win And Risking Death To Win Are Completely Different. – Gojo Satoru

Gojo Satoru loves to joke around and take care of his students. Despite his goofy nature, he is capable of motivating his students and teaching them to believe in their abilities. Itadori Yuji is a great example. Granted, Satoru wanted to utilize Sukuna's power, but a rational person would still have chosen to kill Yuji. However, Satoru believed that Yuji could harness the power of the demon and use it to change the world for the better.

Gojo Satoru Maintains A Certain Level Of Morality

Nanami Kento And Gojo Satoru

Another thing that separates Gojo Satoru from powerful characters is that he is not a morally gray character. While some of his decisions may seem questionable, most of the time Satoru tried to help other people. Even in the Shibuya arc, where he could have let hundreds of people die, Satoru pushed himself to the extreme to prevent the loss of lives. This weakness was exploited by Geto and his group, who achieved their goal of sealing him away.

With Satoru being sealed away, the upcoming season of the anime will be fascinating. Fans will get to know the fate of Satoru, Yuji, and many other popular characters. Also, they will get to see if Gojo Satoru will join the fray again at some time.
