Gege Akutami is doing incredibly well with his Jujutsu Kaisen sequel manga, called JJK Modulo, and fans are incredibly excited over the content that the author has been delivering. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo had its doubters when the manga first began, with many likening it to a Boruto-like sequel, but it has turned out to be anything but that. Right now, it can be said that Jujutsu Kaisen is the most exciting modern shonen series, and fans truly can't get enough of it.
Unfortunately, this series is a short serialization, which means that the final battles have already kicked off. Fans have seen the rise of a new generation of sorcerers, and among them is an individual who has now officially surpassed even Gojo Satoru as a genius in combat. This character is none other than Dabura Karaba, the king of the Simurians, who seeks to establish a capital in Tokyo and take over it completely.
Gojo Satoru and Sukuna Were The Two Biggest Geniuses In JJK
Gojo And Sukuna Defied All Logic
When it comes to the geniuses of the Jujutsu Kaisen world, fans know very well that Gojo and Sukuna reigned supreme at the top. Sukuna was the King of Curses who was born in the Heian era, and back then he was truly unmatched. His level was such that the strongest of sorcerers used to go up against him to sharpen their own skills, and in the end, they all fell to him one by one. Sukuna was truly unbeatable. Even in the modern era, only one could rival him in terms of combat. Combat prowess aside, Sukuna was also a tremendous genius. Just by seeing techniques once, Sukuna could easily copy them or figure out how they worked. His battle IQ was on a completely different level, and that is what made him a compelling villain as well.
I'm sorry, Amanai. I don't feel bad for you right now. I don't feel anything at all. — Gojo Satoru
Coming over to Gojo Satoru, fans know that he was the modern strongest and also an incredible genius when it came to battle. Gojo having the Limitless technique required him to be a genius-level sorcerer who could figure out its ins and outs and develop it by taking it to the maximum level. He most certainly did that, and fans know very well that his genius was on a completely different level compared to most others. This is clear from the fact that he invented things like replenishing the burnt-out cursed technique by destroying a part of the brain and recreating it with his reverse cursed technique, and much else.
Undoubtedly, Gojo and Sukuna were in a league of their own when it comes to the geniuses of the JJK world. Now, however, Gege Akutami has introduced a character who might even be above these two in terms of battle genius, and that person is Dabura. Fans have seen Dabura fight against Mahoraga over the course of the last few chapters, and although he was struggling initially, now, he has reached a new level of power which is quite clearly unprecedented.
Gege Akutami Confirms Dabura Is A Bigger Genius Than Gojo Satoru
Dabura Reverse Engineered RCT And Domain Expansion
Dabura's genius was confirmed to the fans in his battle against Mahoraga, where he decided to take his powers beyond all limits. As was established in the story previously, Dabura had never before tried to move at the speed of light because he did not believe his body would be able to sustain the damage it would suffer from moving so fast. In this fight, however, Dabura pushed himself beyond all limits and actually tried to catch up to light. His power was such that he could obliterate Mahoraga and, with it, a significant portion of Tokyo as well. He accomplished this just by moving fast, and that goes to show how powerful he truly is, but nothing compared to what he managed to pull off shortly afterwards.
I shall become a warrior then, Dura! — Dabura Karaba
Immediately after launching his assault on Mahoraga, Dabura realized that he had lost a part of his leg. Initially, he planned to chop his leg off and fight with just one foot, but then he realized that Mahoraga was channeling a different kind of energy through the sword of extermination than regular cursed energy. He then also remembered that Maru and Cross were somehow going to be healed using Earth's Jujutsu. Putting two and two together, Dabura actually managed to tap into the reverse cursed technique in the midst of the battle. In other words, Dabura technically invented the reverse cursed technique from scratch without having any model for it. This is a bigger feat than anything Gojo and Sukuna have done.
Fans must remember how much Gojo struggled to use the reverse cursed technique as well as cursed technique reversal in the original series when he fought Toji, when he was still in high school. The fact that Dabura did it so easily just goes to show his level of genius. It doesn't stop here, as Dabura continued to evolve beyond this as well.
Dabura Created A Powerful Domain Expansion By Himself
Quite clearly, Dabura has the potential to grow even further as he continues to fight Mahoraga. Not only has he figured out how to use reverse cursed technique, but he continued to grow beyond that as well. For starters, Dabura went on to figure out cursed technique reversal, which means that he was able to reverse light itself, leading to the birth of darkness. It must be noted that Mahoraga had already adapted to his physical blows, as well as light. In order to destroy Mahoraga and take it out in one shot, he needed a new technique, and that is where cursed technique reversal comes in. With darkness, Dabura could create something akin to a black hole.

By witnessing the barrier around the spaceship Naunax, Dabura was able to reverse engineer barrier techniques as well, and then imbue his innate technique in it. This led to the creation of his Domain Expansion. Inside it, he could even fuse light and dark together to give rise to an unseen ability, which is something similar to what Gojo does to create Hollow Purple.

Furthermore, there are still things like domain amplification and barrier techniques for Dabura to learn in combat, and he will truly excel at these powers as well. With Dabura Karaba, JJK will see the birth of the new strongest and someone even above the level of Gojo and Sukuna, no matter how much fans try to discredit him. The fact is that Dabura is a genius like no other in the world of JJK, and his rise to the top is almost guaranteed at this point.
Only Yuji Can Match Dabura
It goes without saying that sooner or later Dabura will crush Mahoraga in battle, and that is where Yuji Itadori must step in. Yuji has already made his full debut in Modulo Chapter 19, and he could eventually go on to test his skills against Dabura in Tokyo. Mahoraga will most certainly not last long, which means the biggest battle in all of JJK, that is the clash of Yuji and Dabura, will finally begin. It is in this battle that Yuji's loneliness will be cured forever, and Dabura will finally get to reach new heights of power, which is what he desires at this point.
