Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be delighted to know that Gege Akutami has confirmed that the sequel to the series, JJK 3 Modulo, is going to focus on familiar characters and that the story is set decades after the end of Jujutsu Kaisen's main manga. First and foremost, fans need to know that this manga isn't going to run for too long. Gege Akutami dropped a message earlier today and he confirmed himself that the series is planning a 3-volume run at the moment. This means JJK 3 Mojuro will be a short manga, and it will go on for about 6 months. However, at the same time, there is no guarantee that it won't go on for longer. If the series is incredibly exciting and well-received, Shonen Jump could easily push Gege to continue it, especially in a time when it doesn't have any major hits. For now, 6 months of content is the minimum that fans will get, but it could be more.

Since it is natural to those in Japan, this cursed energy is useful to someone. It also appears that the existence of extraterrestrial beings is confirmed in the world of JJK 3 Modulo.

JJK 3 Modulo Is Set Over 6 Decades After The End Of Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuta And Maki's Grandkids Are Protagonists

Jujutsu Kaisen 3 Modulo is set right after the 68-year timeskip of Jujutsu Kaisen. But, there could be more of a timeskip after. Fans were introduced to Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin’s grandkids in the previous JJK one-shot. Now, it has been confirmed that they're the protagonists of the series. The names of the protagonists are Yukka Okkotsu, who is the granddaughter, and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandson. These two will lead the story in JJK 3. At the same time, fans know that Yukka was especially close to Yuta, while Maki was close to Tsuruji. Yukka seems to have inherited Rika from Yuta Okkotsu.

Since they seem like they've grown up after the events of the oneshot chapter, it seems that there is yet another timeskip, which means all the characters from JJK could've died already, aside from Yuji, who has a chance of being alive due to being Sukuna's previous vessel and having been given birth to by Kenjaku. For now, that's all fans know, and more details will start pouring in soon, so fans need to hold on tightly.
