Wordle is back today with yet another five-letter word to challenge players. Since this word is not the easiest Wordle puzzle ever, some players may want a hint or two to help them get through today with a win.

How To Play Wordle

Wordle is a popular game that went viral back in early 2022. In order to play, players need to head to either the New York Times Games Wordle site or the New York Times Crossword App. While there are loads of copycats, this is the original version, and other versions will have different answers and may have slightly different rules of how to play.

First, players will need to choose a starting Wordle word. But in order to pick a good one, players will need to know a little about the rules that all Wordle puzzles follow.

All Wordle answers are five letters long.
They are all real words that aren't proper nouns.
They can contain duplicated letters like VIVID or BIBLE.
The New York Time Games removed slurs and other offensive words from the word pool.
While they can be used as guesses, Wordle answers will never repeat and will never be plural nouns ending in S or ES, like the word FOXES.
Good starting words will have five different common letters in them.

Type the chosen starting word into the site and press enter. The letters of the chosen word will change colors.

Letters that turn green are right.
Letters that turn gray are wrong.
Letters that turn yellow are right but in the wrong location in the word.

Players have six tries to try new words and get new color-coded clues. Puzzles reset at midnight local time every day.
